They're clearly a team that can take on the best on their day. They've struggled over the last few years being consistent against those really frustrating mid table sides, so it'll be interesting to see if they have the quality to get through those

Well done Chelsea. We had our chance but were unable to take it, and I'm glad you won it rather than some of the other contenders. I don't share the outrage that others have at your "cheating" because the "rules" were brought in to benefit certain clubs, and you aren't one of them. They found we hadn't broken any of their "fair play rules" so they now have to try and show our accounts are a work of fiction. They need more than a dose of good fortune with that, and it will be interesting to see who the IC brands as the liars. In your case they seem to have got cold feet! So you won the competition - a genuine competition - on the field where football trophies should be won, and not in court. So, congratulations and well done again - but don't think for a minute we won't beat you to it in four years time.

They are cheats because there hedge funding owner admitted they cheated you can’t get more concrete than that!

Chelsea are cheats

Fair play to them. I thoughy psg would wipe the floor with them .
They have a decent squad and manager.
I still think they lack a top class keeper and centre half. If that gets addressed then they are contenders.

Congrats to Chelsea, well done. Shocking result. I still hold doubts about Maresca but he has already snapped up two trophies at Chelsea, so fair play.

Doubt that Chelsea supporters will be shocked by the result, although I suspect most others thought PSG would school them based upon their recent performances.

But Chelsea worked so hard in closing down the midfield and breaking the press.

So congrats for the performance and deserved win on the night.

No issue with Chelsea really, don't mind them winning it. On their day they are a good team. Don't think they had a real test until the final and anything can happen in a one off game, they had to get there though and they did unlike us. Talksport was in overdrive about them being title contenders etc off the back of this. I wouldn't take too much from it and make snap judgements based off winning this. It may also derail the start to their season.

As I started with though, don't mind them me and if we wasn't to win things they would top my list of the teams I would want to

Definitely the most palatable of the big hitters, shared our dark days in division 2 and were the first team to break the red cartels glass ceiling, showing us the way

I don't think they'll start well in PL due to lack of rest but should make top 4/5. They may well win the Chumps League with depth of squad and that it doesn't start seriously until Xmas by which time players will have been rotated to get the lost rest.
A good shout for the FA cup as that doesn't start until after Xmas.
So cup wins for them potentially next season and £100M in the bank for ffp purposes.

Fair play to Chelsea, they've gone and won a fortune and completed the full set of trophies for their cabinet. The caveat here is using ourselves as an example, we've not finished low enough in the table to qualify for the Conference League. Still, it's a trophy for them.

I wasn't quite sold on PSG and the predictions that they would tear it up like Pep's Barca and become a team for the ages. Up until Christmas and even in patches after, they were poor at times. They clearly have the ability to tear sides apart, but there's still that ability to outfox them as Maresca showed by targeting their left side as one example.

I do now wonder whether expectation has gone up a few notches and the pressure is on Chelsea to win the title this season. There's no reason they shouldn't be in the mix with us, Liverpool and Arsenal.

I think they should get 4 weeks of holiday minimum but that puts their return to training on 11th of August while PL kicks off for them on 17th. while same of us the whole CWC acts as a preliminary pre season, the 1-month break (=holiday) is really badly scheduled and leaves little time for a secondary physical preparation ad Chelsea players will turn up for PL almost in whatever shape they are after 4 weeks off, some might hit the gym everyday, some will eat fast food and ice cream each day and come back fat lol.

this will be something to watch during the season how our fitness levels and Chelsea's will be compared to other sides not involved in CWC. I see this potential advantage to others.

They’ll get 3 weeks I’d expect but you look at cuccerella he has played none stop for years always picked! That could be a problem for them next season!
