Tino Livramento

Why change the system though? I don’t get it. I personally think they were that good BECAUSE they had 3 midfielders. Ekitike and Isak could score 20 both but feel like their midfield will get crushed more often
city in 13/14 season had 3 out and out no9s and made it work teams can make it work newcastle back in the champions league need to build on this team and not struggle like they did the last time they was in the champions league

looks like wesley is insisting on going to roma so not many more options available for rb is it all our eggs in livramento or is there someone else that will come out of know where

10 years ago using 2 strikers was the norm .. it’s not the same now

doesn't mean a teams can't use 2 strikers now just because it's not the norm plus if wilson has gone they have only isak so why wouldn't they sign a young up and coming forward

Ekitike is replacing Wilson. You’re allowed to have two strikers, you know?
Flappers ffs
What a weird comment. I never said they can’t use 2 strikers just that ekitike is too good for the bench and that the 3 midfield system was their strength over the years. Imagine questioning something.

„ flappers“ you weirdo.

Of course they can. Just wondering. And Isak isn’t their only striker. Don’t know if they are selling him but that 21 yr old Brazilian seemed to have potential whenever he was on the pitch.

Also again. Their midfield was strong so I am just wondering.

yeah there's nothing wrong in wondering it's a valid point

To be fair, he didn't quote your post, so I'm not sure it was you he was talking about. More likely the two who specifically mentioned Isak going to Liverpool

Isak will definitely leave Newcastle at some point (maybe not this season though). His ability exceeds their ambition. Can't see Ekitike playing 2nd fiddle to Isak long term. They are both very similar players.

It's like us buying Gyokeres when we have Haaland. Can't accommodate both.

Wish we had any of those two sweds in our squad. They score goals and press the opponents

God. I hope Ekitike going Newcastle doesn’t mean Isak going to the dippers.
That's exactly what it means. He is an Isak clone.

I can't think of any other reasons to be shopping for the replica when you have the original. Other then you know you about to lose the original. :(

or they only have isak as a striker and want to actually compete rather than suffer like they did last time they was in the champions league
