We won four titles in a row, let’s not forget that. We’re not entitled to win the prem every season, there’s other teams that throw money around and that’s what makes the league so competitive.

they don’t have players that stop the rebuild. We will lose out if we keep them all. Not Isak but players like Wharton or MGW.

I agree with the notion that we are not entitled to win every year, but we 100% took our eyes of the ball, got complacent as a team and club, especially with recruitment, and allowed our biggest rival of the last 6/7 years to rebuild quietly in the shadows and make a power grab.

I don’t think wirtz and isak are galacticos. They are arguably the best players in their positions though.

Galaticos to me indicates they are very high maintenance and don’t really fit the teams culture. I don’t think wirtz or isak have big egos. They are just world class players.

The League is seemingly turning into an arms race.

You have Liverpool, Chelsea, and Arsenal spending 200-300 million this summer, and are quite frankly ahead of us.

There may have to be some brutality amongst the older players, and move them on, so we can get into this, and start throwing some cash around.

We are still short a Midfielder in my estimation, and you would need to move Gundo, Kova, Nunes, and Nico G (If we don't rate him).

And we need to figure out a way to get an RB if Livramento is not an option.

We are because we cheat and outspend all our rivals.
 
I wouldn't panic. Depends on much more than who has the perceived best players in a certain position.

Liverpool haven't had to fight an actual title race under Slot. Sure, they're strengthening their position, but given injuries and the pace games come at, there is plenty that can happen.

It will for sure be a closer title race this season. Liverpool are piling the pressure on themselves by making such huge additions. Every dropped point will be a stick to beat them with, we know that ourselves.
