North Stand Construction Discussion

I’ve been told the Museum will be interactive and will include a recreation of Foden’s childhood bedroom from when he was growing up. There’ll also be videos of iconic moments like 93:20 and Gundogan’s goal vs Villa, complete with sound effects and more. Sounds like it’ll be great for younger fans.
told by who? sounds a little untrue to me

There missing a trick here, should be a ride, when it shows the crowd doing the Posnan on the interactive screen, your carriage starts to jump up and down, then exit through the gift shop and purchase a 1904 replica FA cup final programme.
What's not to like, they'll be coming in their droves.

Think they are pulling your leg ! Phil Fodens bedroom as a child ?? Be better if it was Kyle walkers ! Lol
If his room was filled with City memorabilia and posters etc, I could see the club playing on that.

After all, They do have three whole completely windowless floors to fill.

I believe that the new Premier league rules are that all grounds require two studios for broadcasters, wondering if that’s what the scaffolding is for, it’s obviously not a fourth screen
Looks to me that they are going to extend the deck and the scaffolding is more for operator safety, so you maybe correct that they are building another studio

Yeah the forth floor above the museum will be part of the stadium tour with interactive VR and AR (XR) displays Before Covid there was a VR feature in the old store

We already have two studios. The Sky box behind 210/211 and the one that City TV use in the Colin Bell/North Stand corner.

I'm assuming City want to keep making the most of their in house show and use their studio so it would make sense to add a further one somewhere in the stadium.

The club have also lost 15 or so private boxes in the North Stand. They will gain the Sky Bar and some GA+ seats but I wouldn't be shocked if they did something to squeeze more of these boxes into the corners in time.

Won’t those sails make it difficult for whoever gets the window cleaning contract?
Lowering down a cradle from roof for example.
The glass might be self cleaned, glass isn't smooth it's pitted, it can get coated so the rain runs off it evenly,.
