I am a blue, it's pretty evident on city threads, how much I get involved in chats about the club and players.

What's wrong with calling someone by their real title?

People flex on here, as if it makes you a better city fan if you project how much you hate other clubs as much as possible, like how kids act.

People call me a rag or dipper because I called a man by his real title or because I said Anfield has the best atmosphere in the league, which is backed up by pretty much everyone including Pep.

That's all I've ever said, and suddenly I'm not a city fan haha.

I can't stand the dippers actually, but I think our home atmosphere in general is lacking compared to theirs, especially when the kop is rocking.

As for the rags, I dislike them by default but they're kind of irrelevant to us these days, so I have very little emotion towards them except being amused at their current level. They're not worth hating that much.
Appreciate the full reply, each to their own I suppose.

What I found crazy about that piece is that her lawyer described her as "A student" , these egomaniacs will try anything to get away with shit.
Studying at Oxford, last film was (I think) 2019, not sure what your issue is here :)

She’s studying as a mature student at Oxford University… so she is ‘a student’ currently.

Because the man is a **** and his 'knighthood' was a fucking farce.

Where is Pep's knighthood for achieving the exact same accolade or his services to English Football, making our league the envy of the world again for the last ten years?

Giving respect to his 'title' is giving the man himself respect. He had none for us, I have none for him. He's Slur Alex, GPC, or Rag ****. I'm not sure what brownie points you're trying to achieve giving these people your 'respect', when they think you and your fellow fanbase are cheats for supporting City. I find it even more bizarre that you'd criticise other Blues for not calling Slur Alex by his 'title'.

Fuck the man!

SCUM!

"Home grow" is as vague as it gets, they claim it helps local English players to come through but the qualification for home grown is so thin it's almost transparent.

You don't even have to be born in your own country to play for the national team and even if you are born in the country you play for you get people from other countries whinging about you not playing for them even though you weren't born there.
It’s just another PR slogan from United. Virtually every club in the country had majority home grown players up to ten years ago. Most clubs would have had one home grown player in their match day squads in their entire history….certainly every club outside the top six. Has anyone ever checked this slogan.

Also if you want to give respect to a mans title why dont you and the press and everybody else refer to pep as Doctor Pep Guardiola as thats what he is.

You couldn’t be more wrong on the Anfield atmosphere. I have been there for matches more than 50 times, more than 40 times with City. It is quiet apart from the biggest games. It used to be amazing in the 70s though. I lived in Merseyside for seven years, it’s not the worst but not the best either.

I think it’s one of those meaningless stats. I would imagine most clubs would have had at least one home-grown player in their squad for every game in their history. It was the norm for everyone until about ten years ago and these days the squads are even bigger.

It's just another of the bullshit claims which surround this over-hyped club.

Anything which puts their name out and up front is the process which their PR team have very successfully used better than most other clubs, but it is flawed when the quality of the team/squad is examined. Hype over content.

But bullshit sells the brand and our media whores lap it up no doubt due to being paid for their services to a failing organisation.

Let's see when they win their next PL title.

Pep only visits these stadia for the biggest matches when they are at their noisiest. I would suggest that regular away fans know better. I have an LFC season ticket holder pal who says the atmosphere at Anfield these days is shite. He goes to every game and has done since the 70s.

Audio tests have proven its the loudest ground in England.

If it's wrong, who do so many managers like Pep say it's the hardest ground in the league to go to because of the crowd and atmosphere. All managers and players and ex players say it. Are they all wrong then?

The kop is clearly a terrifying force of nature when it gets bouncing. We've seen City teams play within themselves because of it.
