I was at that game in the Kop where I always went because the Anfield Road was deadly. The TV coverage said the Liverpool fans helped pick out the culprit. But the ones near me were mostly laughing. Just another media myth.

That game at Goodison has to be my favourite ever away game. Only 15 at the time. I regularly watch it on YouTube and when Power equalises all I do is watch us blues behind the goal.
I’ve shown it to my 3 lads and they all watch with envy. They will never experience a day out like that. Unfortunately for them, but as a modern day parent I’m glad in some ways.
My own parents didn’t have a clue what I got up to.
I remember lying bed that night staring at the ceiling still on a high from the adrenaline rush of before, during and after that game.
And not a drop to drink.

Was at that QF at goodison it was mental , police gave us an escort until we got to stanley park then fucked off , almost like they knew what was going to happen

Attended the LC Semi Final at Klanfield . Lot`s of handbags but no real bother really on the way back to Lime St in our part of the escort anyway . Couldn`t get a ticket for the Goodison QF .
