Nowhere near as decorated or as experienced as Ederson.

He’s our number one, must be on a really good wage & will soon be playing infront of 60,000+ fans each week and your manager is Pep.

I just think he's done it ,won it all and maybe even subconciously is maybe just a few percent off it which makes a difference and fancies a change, of lifestyle.Maybe just a bit bored of it, who knows could be many reasons.

Despite Ederson's flaws he has been an integral part of the team, he will leave with some big shoes to be filled. Let's hope Trafford can fill them.

He is City's best ever goalie. Period! But if he is not locked in for the rebuild then he is not ready.

Ederson the best with his feet and because of that his importance to our greatest ever teams with Peps style of play has been huge. Particularly in league winning seasons. Literally everything starts with him. In the champions league final in instanbul he was also easily our MOTM.

Generally in terms of all other aspects of goalkeeping ability, shot stopping, making decisions, commanding the box all average. Saving penalties (or even getting anywhere near them!) and 1 vs 1 with strikers = abysmal.

Best keeper probably ever in football history with his feet and a mad fearless bastard. Some underrate him and others overrate him in terms of his overall ability imo but City Legend who will be remembered here forever no doubt.

There is usually some correlation between what a club is paying a player and what an expected transfer fee should be, and Eddie is 2/3 times less that some players (100k pw). Add to that he has just one year left, but 3M is still taking the piss.

It’s a fkn piss take for a goalie who’s won everything and should still have 3 or 4 productive years ahead of him. I don’t believe our management will get rolled over like that.

Personally, I’ll have mixed views when Eddie leaves. While he has very obvious shortcomings, he has equally evident strengths. In some ways he symbolises the peak Pep City era: bold, unorthodox, innovative, unpredictable… a bit mad but in the nicest sense.
