Everyone has their own take on it, but if:

+1 more go, we're set.

If more than 4 go, we can bring in another foreign player as the hard cap is 17 max.

Ederson is looking increasingly likely to leave. Even if one of Akanji/Gundogan remain, I can see Reis & Echeverri going out on loan, which frees up the space we need for a right back.

I was surprised to see Needum saying on ESPN he doesn't think we need a right back.

Also according to the rules Savio and Khusonov would be added to the foreign list next season, would be wise to remove an extra 2 players now imo

I can only hope the decision makers at the club disagree with Nedum's point of view.

If we go into the season with Lewis/Nunes as our right back options, we're fighting for top 4 again.

I very much doubt Gala are on Akanji's agenda. Unfortunately for some, he isn't likely to leave this summer, unless a good CL team can match his wages at City and guarantee him a starting place. Anything else isn't likely to make any sense from his perspective. It's not like Pep doesn't play him.

He’s more reliable than Stones, on less wages, and younger. We shouldn’t find it hard to find a buyer.
