It's like a war of attrition, many moons ago criminals used the lay of the land and stole cars that fit through certain bollards to escape the rozzers.

As an aside the docuseries about Harley Davidson was superb if anyone is interested in bikes. Kids in Salford will be driving these soon :)

The first 'proper' bike I owned was a Grifter. I found it abandoned in a local brook, and my dad insisted I took it to the police station. The coppers kept it for 3 weeks, and when nobody claimed it or reported it lost/stolen, they said I could have it.

Great bikes.

I worked at a bakery when I left school and a lad had one there, wonderful machine.

Makes you wonder how many parents who actually care buy their little darlings an electric device and think of the consequences where crime could be committed or crime could be committed on their little cherubs?

I just checked...the 15 year old lad that died on Langworthy Road in Salford was on one of those Sur-Rons....the press and police just described it as an "e-bike" though. I don't know how and where they get them from...
Maybe profits from dealing?

Whatever they are riding it needs dealing with mate, as a society we need to man up and admit that even if you can't rehabilitate a scrote you can ease public fear by removing him for a time designated by law.

There are people in society with zero respect for the rule of law. Not sure what the answer, but it isn't a simple solution.

We had a drug fueled fucknut on our street everyone hated his anti-social behaviour and constantly complained about him.

It really didn't help that it was them that bought most of the stuff off him, when the authorities finally jailed him they were left high and dry.

Maybe a mobile EMP (Electro Magnetic Pulse) thingumabob could be deployed like a stinger for cars on the run?

We can think of all the solutions. It's easy...I think all police cars should have ram bars on the front like in the US and the police helicopter should be armed.

I found my first bike frame on a croft and over the space of a few weeks added parts to it to build a drop handlebar bike painted neon blue, no gears just pedal like fuck.
