It's Quiet the £250m return

This is where the concern is. How you supposed to have a solid defence when they are all injury prone.

Ake - 165 days injured - 37 games missed last season in all comps

Akanji - 87 days injured - 19 games missed last season in all comps

Dias - 50 days - 10 games missed last season in all comps

Stones - 164 days - 33 games missed last season in all comps

Predictably, we are seemingly struggling to offload our fringe players.

If we’re to bring anyone else in, I think we will need to sell the likes of Grealish, McAtee, Gundogan/Kovacic (possibly both), Ederson/Ortega and at least one of our centre backs.

Viana has his work cut out.

The problem is the two best defenders in Stones and Ake are injured, leaving us with Dias and Akanji.

Posts on social today saying we want Gundo to stay and Ederson to! The Ederson one is if he stays we won’t be looking at Trafford well that’s dum unless Ederson commits to us for the next 3/5 years
We should all know the steps to this particular dance by now.

On this logic, Rodri is the most injury prone player we currently have...

If you take into account the 4 seasons before the last, then it's obvious that Dias and Akanji are not injury prone. Part of the reason for their fitness problems was that they had played a lot of minutes due to the injuries of Stones and Ake and Pep couldn't rotate them enough.

Lumping all 4 together is misleading.

You told me to compare them and I did. And now you switching up realizing that the comparison wasn’t wrong after all and come up with under age international level? Wirtz was a starter and the vocal point of his club the moment he started pro football. In the area northrhine Westfalia everyone knew him. He was so big that his move from Cologne to Leverkusen created a big conflict. Hoeneś has been tapping him up since he was 18.

Again. Making the club at the age of 17 isn’t a bad accomplishment but it’s different than putting a whole team on his bag and going unbeaten against all the odds while not even playing for a top team ( when he joined).
If you want to we can also compare the under tournaments between those two which don’t matter at all anyways. Wirtz put a whole team on his back again.
Also the fact that many here wanted Wirtz as the new 10 says it all. When you need a play maker - someone who is close bring an actual 10 you choose Wirtz not Foden. One is a scorer and the other a facilitator.

Palmer scored in some games like the community shield? Before he left? He wanted to leave it’s not that he wasn’t good enough. Pep chose to sell him instead of loaning him out that’s what Palmer said himself.
No, you compared their club statistics not their total achievements. I can see how you are someone who tries to belittle any City players and big up other clubs players. I can see right through you so let's leave it here and see how the world class, bestest ever footballer Florian Wirtz (or should that be £116m Florian Wirtz) gets on shall we. With our own eyes and not through the media. That's how I judge players, with my own eyes and not what some clown on commentary tells me.
For clarity read through the Wirtz thread before he joined your team and read what I put. Around the time we were favourites to sign him.
Again for clarity, I prefer Cherki ahead of Wirtz. Cherki is a player I have been well aware of since he was 16.
What's with the King Jay name? Are you some little kid who plays Xbox or play station or are you just a retarded adult with the mental age of seven?
Palmer wasn't good enough to break into the team. Neither was Morgan Rogers (even by his own admission). Rogers isn't good enough now and never will be.

Look how angry you get when you literally have no arguments to telling why Foden was better during the age if 17-21. poor guy I hope you find love somewhere. Can’t take someone like you seriously who gets mad when someone doesn’t share your opinion. I’ve seen it countless times. Sorry that I don’t suck off your favorite players because you would suck on their nips like the little pathetic baby you are.
Imagine getting mad every day during an argument. I will call myself however I want where I want Mr. Coleman.

Whatever Morgan Roger’s has to do with Palmer is another thing. This guy is coming up with players nobody was talking about .

Also if you go back to the Cherki thread I was literally the first one who called his transfer and said that he is piece no one is talking about. Go to the Wirtz thread or Cherki thread and look it up and stop sucking so much because people don’t share your opinions. If you wanna live in your own world where everyone has to say and do what you want then go back to the kindergarten and play dumb.

It’s just facts that there‘s higher rated players by the media or other clubs. What you personally think is nothing anyone cares about. Again he outplayed him during those ages. Sorry to tell you the fucking facts. Now shut the fuck up and ignore my messages or whatever. You damn angry clapper.

Best regards,
King Jay.

What makes you think he’s a top level player? What particular aspect of his game? Athleticism, his reading of the game, positioning, tackling or his passing?

I find it remarkable that people can spend a decade or more watching the likes of David Silva, KDB, Fernandinho and Toure and then argue that Gonzalez is a top level player. It’s frankly absurd.

Gundogan is a different class of player than Gonzalez and even at 60% or so of his peak, Guardiola sees that he’s the better player.

Also, your suggestion that Gonzalez has spoken out of turn and fallen out with Guardiola is nothing more than idle speculation and supposition.
Did I say he's at the same level as DS, KDB, Yaya, or Dinho? I simply believe he's miles clear of Gundo at this time, which BTW isn't all that difficult.
I find it remarkable that you could make any assumptions about who or what I've been watching over the past 45 plus years.

PS If you had watched him at Porto playing in his favored position you could compile your own scouting report.
