Every team made it easier for the dippers to win it last season. Probably us more than any other. But they also had a clear run by concentrating only on the league, that was their sole intention: no cup games to interfere with plan A.
This new season will be a complete change for most of us, and although I think they have improved their squad I don't think we will see such a one-horse race this time around.

Their squad, on paper...is a clear 10 - 15 points better than the rest....walk over this year realistically, especially if they get Isak... could be 20 points clear!!!

Yeah I think even if they don't get Isak they'll still win it comfortably.
They did so last year and have strengthened.

We didn't turn up last year, we will fuck them all ends up this season when we do turn up. They won the title with 84 points, we had a year off it wont happen this year.

The club are petrified of the criticism we get in the media,more interested in telling the world how great our net spend is. The reality is even if we had a squad of home grown players we would still be called big spending City. The board have completely fucked up the recruitment since the treble win.

You don't have a year off. We got worse for one reason or another and we need to improve this next season. We'll see if our new signings improve us but as a club it's clear mistakes have been made since 2023.

I’m wondering with this 115 charges and the associated parties ruling the spending is set to be relaxed as it’s turned into a total farce trying to police it.

If we properly invested in the team after that treble then we might have gone onto win another champions league as well as another PL title. We also might have made a decent fist of competing last season

i'm unimpressed with them and I don't see the meltdown. unbalanced team that will suffer defensively immensely this season, and replacing all of your attackers bar one in one summer (of course, one that is tragic and outside their planning) is a recipe for disaster. two fullbacks that have mostly excelled in 5 ATB formations shoehorned into a 4 atb system, aging salah and van dijk on new deals.

I think they will underwhelm massively.
