Is this like on websites in America for breweries?
Click on one and it says "are you over 21?" (tick yes or no) and then if yes input your date of birth.
The most ridiculous waste of time apart from watching Rasmus Hojlund's top ten non goalscoring opporutnities.
 
I remember watching Louis Theroux's documentary on porn, and the answer was not enough to not have to do gay porn too. It turns out that there's a long line of men* willing to have sex with hot women for a living. Who'd have thought it.

It used to be just tick yes to over 18. Now you have to prove it with different verifications. It's explained more on the link I posted - credit cards, photos of your ID, your phone network verification, bank account details or a selfie. I agree it's needed somehow but who's going to trust the system. Not many. VPN's get around it I think.
