Here you have it.

The latest bullshit from the Scousers across social media.

But no mention of the £57mill Liverpool lost in 2023/24.

That has been erased from Liverpool's Financial history.

Another example of the cult once again twisting things and not telling the whole truth.

More than that IMO

All our (preferred) CBs are slow as fuck.

Dias, Akanji, Ake look like they are running in treacle at times.

We need a proper RB and either trust Reis and Khush. Or Invest in a top CB.

I thought that was because they were playing whilst injured, Akanji was ok in the run in & Dias has never been about pace.

They had a big splurge the year before when they bought Szoboszlai, Gravenbach, Macallister & Endo.

The media probably make fair points about how they can afford it but they never did that when City were spending big.
They never did and they never will.

We're far too much of a threat to the red cartel.

All the things they wax lyrical about the rags and Liverpool during the transfer period is pretty standard stuff for MCFC.

When the likes of Liverpool sign a player the media are eager to tell us how their scouting team have done their due diligence.

When the rags are looking at a player (usually someone MCFC have considered and rejected) the media tell us how the rags have learnt from their previous mistakes and this is the player that will help turn their fortunes.

The reality is MCFC have dominated the premier league for years now and much of that success has come from our recruitment.

We've also been financially self-sufficient during that time too, but you won't hear that from the media.

Some top signings, no point crying, leave that to the dippers. Team to beat next season.

Hopeful City can mount a challenge. Still think we are light in some areas but we ain’t far away at all.

On paper etc but we all know football is played on a pitch so no point getting hysterical.

We be ok.

...Then there's the rags:

"Players will always be attracted to the famous Manchesniteh" or "This signing is the missing piece" or "These signings will guarantee the club returns to it's rightful place"
...and just watch the season progress as the dodgy refereeing decisions (in their favour) will no doubt return to their rightful place too in order to prove the media's point, much like they (in the oppositions favour) arrived at our door during Pep's 1st season after they stated that he "wouldn't find it as easy in the Premier League".

No coincidences, it's all "planned" and it's all fucking sickening to observe.

They’ve also been wanking themselves silly about Frimpng and Mbeuno, one came through City’s academy and wasn’t deemed good enough fto make the step up for the first team and Mbeuno started out at a City Football group affiliated team which has resulted in a sell on fee for CFG. The tentacles of Citys football operation goes a lot deeper than Liverpool’s which allows us to spend season after season and not just one summer.,

I know there is a lot of grizzling about how much they’ve spent but hats off to them with the quality they have brought in. They’ve had the transfer window we should have had with Mancini in 2012.

Yes they’ve spunked money but they didn’t buy anyone last season and did win the league.
The only issue I have is that the press for the first time in living memory are reporting fees as the up front price rather than the whole package. I think that’s the most nauseating thing with this mob.

They’ve set the marker and now it’s up to us to show what we are and take back the league. Hopefully the boss and players are smarting and ready to trade blows and go after them.
Imagine the melt down if we won the league after they’ve already won it in July.

i'm unimpressed with them and I don't see the meltdown. unbalanced team that will suffer defensively immensely this season, and replacing all of your attackers bar one in one summer (of course, one that is tragic and outside their planning) is a recipe for disaster. two fullbacks that have mostly excelled in 5 ATB formations shoehorned into a 4 atb system, aging salah and van dijk on new deals.

I think they will underwhelm massively.
Like I said, defensively suspect as they are looking to throw over 400 million pound on attackers
