It's Quiet the £250m return

I’m not sure van dijk is. He’s just very good at holding the attacker up and often using his body strength to get the forward off balance.
I stand to be corrected though just I’ve never got the impression he’s rapid.
He’s quick, mate. You’ll very very rarely see an attacker do him for pace.

I want Ruben to get back to what he was, we need him to as he’s definitely the leader at the back, I’m just not convinced he will.

To be fair mate, you don’t have to be on any of the shite social media platforms to see them, they get copied in by the aggregators so although I scroll past they still appear on my X timeline regardless.
I ain't on any social media mate, Posters on here have pretty poor assumptions!

Going through Google news and other sites there's obviously City related stuff that I'll see as it's stuff I look at.

Grabs hold, barges into or trips them before they get away. And he usually gets away without punishment. The cards he escapes are scandalous.

Haha my exact thoughts
You do know that you don't have to be on social media to see City related posts, Your phone obviously knows that yiyr search engine is mainly manchester city so its always going to show you manchester city content...

Thought you'd be a bit brighter than some others on here.

As per what I’ve just said on reply, City Xtra retweet so assuming you’re on X and follow the main City aggregators then you don’t get a choice.

Without wanting to state the blindingly obvious - if you don’t like the content the City aggregators spam you with, don’t follow them.

And why anyone would want to be on Twitter/X these days is way beyond me - but I appreciate some people love it.

It still sounds like people complaining about something they’ve actively chosen to engage with - to which the obvious reply is: don’t engage with it then.

It’s your choice.

Are you for real? You think I wouldn’t follow City Xtra just because every now and then they retweet a few pics of Ruben? Nice one.

Give over on the Dias hate. Imagine a prime Kompany in a back line with a constantly changed partner, a make shift left back and right back that’s either a midget with no defensive capabilities or a converted box to box midfielder.

Peps high line tactics post Walker bailing the defence out with his pace don’t help him or any of the back line either.

Dias is one of the last players I’d be concerned about. Our worst run of form last season he was injured for the majority of it if I’m not mistaken. He literally went off at half time whilst we were 2-0 up against European Champions PSG in Jan and we ended up losing 4-2. He’s got his flaws but he’s our best CB currently
People also forget how many block tackles the lad gets in which I suspect is more than anyone. Always puts his body on the line and as you say he`s certainly not the worst but by his standards OK he too could have done better. Plenty of the squad also had average to poor season which we`ve not had for some years now.

Yep - absolutely mate.

You follow who you like. That’s your choice.

But complaining about a choice you’ve made when it’s entirely within your power to change it is the absolute definition of pointless, whining self-indulgence.

In my opinion, of course.

I'm worried about Dias?

He is loved up, to the point he's posting pictures of himself posing every day or so.

We need him absolutely focused. His form seems to go out of the window every time he's with a new girl?
I agree. And for me, I really don't like that girl, I can't get over the fact that she was Stormzys ( Croydon Rag) gf for years. Pretty, but imo talentless, but has a couple of assets she makes very obvious at every opportunity and blokes fall for it every time. Including thus loved up centre back!

Yea love Ruben, but he is painfully slow. The one that really stood out for me was the last home of the season against Bournemouth when Nunes played him a shocking pass. The pass was dreadful granted, but I still think any of our other defenders would of got there.
what were some others, because i cant remember many fuck ups by ruben, what sticks in my mind is his constant blocks

The way he dresses himself, for ffs, maybe she is just a "beard" for him and they are using each other for publicity?

Haha sorry mate. It just made me chuckle the usual blunt way he put across what went through my mind. BTW you can control what you look at quite easily by deleting history, bin off certain sites etc but I expect you know that already. I deleted a few city players off instagram for the very reason you mentioned
