I love Ederson, he's without doubt the best keeper I've ever seen for passing the ball, nobody else comes close but I'm not blind to his weaknesses either.
Agreed it's far more difficult facing top forwards as a keeper but the rest of the keepers in the league face the same players as well each week and Ederson ranked 10th for save % in the PL last season. He's also not a keeper who commands his box at corners and wide free kicks, often misjudgedes whether to come or stay.
I'll add no way is Trafford making an 84% save % if he does become our number 1 keeper though. There's also other things to factor in such as age, fitness, ambition. Let them battle it out for the Jersey I say.
