It's Quiet the £250m return

Maybe not, but think Khusonov could in those type of games.

For those games. If you want to play Nunes , sounds crazy but I would drop Dias and play Khusanov next to Gvardiol just because of his recovery pace. Nunes can attack and we wouldn't have to worry about balls in behind and the space left due to Khusanov pace.

10 assists last year btw.

100m Tino got 1.

Fair enough but hes not a fullback and made countless mistakes last season in that position? Penalty against the rags at home, goals conceded from sloppy passes and plenty that we didnt get punished for? Not his fault in a sense as he gets caught up field too much as he is by nature a midfielder that went forward but going to Arsenal or the dippers as our RB is asking for more than trouble! Just an unnecessary risk that will cost us at the end of the season. When the team was being transitioned on to death last season and conceding so many goals, Pep also went into his shell a bit and picked the old crew which is something most of us want to avoid next season?

In your opinion it's complete bollocks...As per you post the same shite "complete bollocks" with absolutely nothing to back it up other than thar childish quote you constantly make.

I've read your post about Lewis and Nunes being better and doing a job next season...Really?

Let's call a spade a spade, both nowhere near good enough to be our regular right back. Not only that, we don't have a centre back that can stay fit for two weeks!

You may well be happy with what we have, other aren't and that's completely fine as they certainly have a point. We've taken our eye of the ball with transfers if you can't accept that then that's fine.
A top quality right back is imperative. Just this being settled alongside clearing the decks with our ageing players & those no longer wanted, will give us the squad clarity we need. Plus, moving unwanted players on will massively trim our wage bill.

I'll be seriously pissed if we merely switch our left back issues to right back this season. We're so close to resolving so many glaring squad deficiencies, it would be criminal neglect if we don't complete the process.

Come on City, get it the fuck done already!

Didnt think Hugo would let Pep go into the season with no proper full backs and after sorting the left, i`m pretty frustrated that the even weaker side is seemingly being left to a midfielder that Pep said isnt intelligent enough to play his natural position and made numnerous brain farts last season that led to goals, penalties etc? Not his fault as he should never be put there and those saying he improved towards the end of the season are right but it wasnt difficult to was it? A top RB and the squad would be extremely well set and exciting to watch
Better yet, if he gets injured we’re forced to see Akanji or worse Rico at RB. And we all have seen how inept we are without Nunes. The FA Cup final was more than enough evidence

Tino wasn't being signed for his attcking it's his defending. He's the best 1v1 full back in the league. Wins 60% of his ground duels and 50% of his Aerials. Won possession back the most out of every full back in the league. Attacking we are fine. Defending on that side is the issue and Tino would've solved that.

Name me someone who didn’t make a mistake last year and the main culprits didn’t spend there season shunted in various positions and thrown on the bench for weeks on end. For some reason Nunes gets all the blame

Livramento is not available, alternative options deemed not good enough. What do you want the club to do exactly?

As for Pep picking his old crew, well he’s signed several players already but I still saw them sat on the bench at the CWC as Pep trotted out Gundogan. You think this lads joining this late and starting against Wolves, no chance.

Good job I replied to a post where someone said his final ball is shit then mate, not his defensive prowess..

I have asked the question.

However yesterday I was told we are in the market for a right back. So until I hear otherwise. I believe we are still in the market for a right back.
I'm telling myself that this is true and we still are. Mainly because I refuse to believe the club looked at how we defended last season, then looked at Nunes/Lewis/Akanji, and came to the conclusion "these RBs options are good enough for a club that aims to be the best in the world". If something feels too stupid to be true, it probably isn't true.

Too slow, too light weight, has no awareness of people behind him. Genuinely don't think he is good enough for a club who wants to compete for big trophies.

He's good enough in midfield. Not at full back. Rico in midfield is different to Rico at fullback. It's just we are stacked in that position.

I not blaming Nunes mate, he`s just not good enough? If Livramento isnt available and wont be next season either then who would the club target if/when it cost us this season?
