Not as long as this thread, though.Goes right round the houses in a few hundred words when he could say ‘might be October’
Agree wouldnt bother giving them clicksWhat’s the point anyone whose a city fan reading a fantasy article!
I imagine he had his knuckles rapped following the obvious breach of confidentiality when Martin Ziegler knew we’d been charged before we did.I find this quote from Masters interesting, although I may be grasping a straw or 2 thinking that an announcement is imminent
"You can ask, but our rules are very clear," Masters explained. "It’s a confidential process so I really can’t give any information out on timing or anything like that.“
He’s no longer saying he doesn’t know, but that it’s confidential……
Probably reading waaaayyyy to much into it
I took it he’d been given a better line from his media team than what he gave in the other clip the other day where he started down the “we have no idea” route.I find this quote from Masters interesting, although I may be grasping a straw or 2 thinking that an announcement is imminent

Thanks for posting. He is just saying what him and his mates have been saying for 1,2,3 years and counting. How can any editor pay someone to say the same thing every few months. Has journalism now become this desperate that they have to keep playing to the same audience. Where is ground breaking journalism nowadays. Why don't they try a different angle, like how heavy the punishment will be for all those involved on the other side if they are found to be once again working under their own illegal rules. Leopards don't change their spots and if the PL and cartel were happy to prosecute under illegal rules, they will have done it whenever they feel they can get away with it. Roll on the day of reckoning, that should be the headline with a few ifs and buts in the story.Delooney full article below.
Even by his standards it is special - all fabricated, speculative bullshit.
or "The ideas we have are not consistent with UK law"I took it he’d been given a better line from his media team than what he gave in the other clip the other day where he started down the “we have no idea” route.
Unless that’s their motto.

We Have No Idea
Your suggested outcome and common sense cannot possibly live in the same space, mate. The way I see it the overwhelming likelihood given how protracted and expensive this process has been is that we are going to get found guilty of something although I would expect not of the more severe charges.
The PL are under massive pressure to make something stick and there will be some sort of settlement. Their own survival depends on it.
At the end of the day common sense will hopefully prevail.
80 pages?F-ck me ive not been on this thread for the last 80 pages.
How long can this bullshit continue without someone giving the verdict out.
Agreed.I find this quote from Masters interesting, although I may be grasping a straw or 2 thinking that an announcement is imminent

Can you imagine the call….If the date in anyway relates to an individual like Mancini or Yaya etc. then absolutely yes. The PL are effectively putting their own demands ahead of individual rights secured under statute that must take precedent. We have rights bestowed under GDPR legislation that the PL cannot undermine. Who do they think they are?
Only this. Can you imagine the call….
“Mr Mancini, please can you bring us a copy of your contract from City with all the details of any other non-City work you did.”
Cue a long silence…..
“Hello…..Mr Mancini……..are you there?”
Clickbait title but interesting (sort of) nonetheless....
One can only hope given what’s at stake for both parties.Your suggested outcome and common sense cannot possibly live in the same space, mate.
Agree. It seems about petty amounts considering the loopholes being used by some clubs now.I think it has actually worked out in the clubs favour this being dragged out for as long as it has. The initial furore has died down and as more clubs have been fined/had points deducted/undertaken dubious accounting/been restricted in their spending (delete as appropriate), more and more people are seeing it for the hatchet job it is.
