North Stand Construction Discussion

Looks like insulation is only towards the top and localised
These were the panels we watched being extruded onsite at SE corner a few months ago

The grey racks are stillages for the glazing

No doubt a stupid question and no doubt been asked before but why don't they cover all the roofs in Solar Panels?
Weight issues I think, especially with the E & W roofs as the cable net wasn't designed for it. Top of the spirals have them (or will) and I think the top of the hotel & commercial building. The academy/training complex is replete with them.

Nice to see the cherry pickers have now gone off the roof and the Perspex is now going in.Expect the roof cladding will be done very soon. On a side note I thought there might insulation going in first because they had to remove that off the existing roof. But probably the acoustics are better without it.

I saw this on the ground weeks back , presumably for the roof if not where ?

Spurs.

Looking at stadium plan, the access tunnel is at the other end of the stadium next to the away end.

Spurs’ double pitch arrangement means that they can bring truck into the pitch when required.
We have the same problem at SJP, the stage is at the Gallowgate end, where as the tunnel access is at the Leazes end. Everything has to be hand balled to the opposite side.
