I'm afraid you're going to have to expand on "Trump doing his best to make voting almost impossible for large groups of people who are unlikely to vote for him" I don't know what you're talking about?
Voting at 16 is IMO too young. 18 is just about right, but we all know why Starmer is reducing the age... oh and up until Starmers intervention the voting age in Scotland and Wales in the General Election is 18.
Wouldn't be a bad idea to trial it in maybe local elections (such are the Welsh and Scottish governments) in England but for me, 16 is too young. I realise there will great examples of where at 16 the voter is mature enough and capable but there will also be very many ( a big majority I might suggest) where this is not the case.
... back to my point.... who is Trump taking votes away from?
