It's not really though, mate. Regardless of what you think of Rashford, he is good for 15-20 goals and assists per season. It takes Grealish 3-4 years to do that. Rashford blows hot and cold, but he's capable of scoring heavy goals. He is also rapid and younger than Grealish. I would take Rashford over Grealish every day of the week.
Try 10-15 with an odd standout season thrown in. And bear in mind that those stats are often as a main striker too.

Thing is pep is such a nice guy I’d would have gave Grealish the feeling he could still be a player for us this season! He sticks around though will he be picked after pep leaving him out of club World Cup? We treat players how you should make them so comfortable a great facilities everything they want! So can see all the olde players sticking around

It will be a loan if anything. He has a book value of £33.33m, and anything below that would be a PSR loss. Would probably be easier to sell him for more than £16.67m (PSR break even) next year after a year out on loan

Right now our only option as LW is Doku, so I don't think Doku has advanced so that he doesn't need competition or if Jack tries his best during trainings, he wouldn't be able to outperform him.

I know that Pep will frequently use Ait-Nouri or Gvardiol or Nico O. as wingbacks this season but when it comes to system where pure LW is needed, it's better to have options as we have for the RW in Savio and Bobb.

I still struggle to believe we signed Grealish and never let him play with a genuine overlapping left back. Strange how things work out in that as he is going the full back who could bring the best out of him arrives. What are the odds on a Grealish renaissance this season for city?

Can Cherki and Foden and even Marmoush not play on the left ?

Foden, Savinho, Cherki, Bobb and Marmoush can all play on the left.

friend of mine asked me why dont we send him to Girona, and actually it might happen if no other offers. will cost us a lot for sure, but he could be a huge fish in a small pond there which might be the thing he needs to get his career back on track. or we do a big commercial decision and send him to New York City, its been quite a while since they some big name over there, they used to have Pirlo, Lampard, David Villa years ago but dont recall any big name players in recent years. in commercial sense Grealish could be a big hit on the US market. not sure how it works but Miami have Messi, Suarez etc, Los Angeles getting Son now, the soccer loving ladies would surely love to look at Grealish haha

obv these could be last ditch attempts

Jack will be fine here lads

Will rifle in a pen in our FA Cup 3rd round tie v Stockport

Start all our league cup games

Get thrown in against Madrid in the Champions League and set up big Earl for a couple

Then we will be back here again at end of the season

I dont remeber seeing him in the last inside city video. Hope he gets a good move.

Fair play ... quite a few people replied to my original post to tell me it was a fookin' stupid comparison so I'll take that one on the chin.

In which case how the fook have we managed to spend £100M plus £300k per week for years and end up with a player that is apparently nowhere near as good as fookin' Rashford.

It beggars belief.

I saw that this morning. Pep might have given him some encouragement. Pep always said it was always down to Jack. I would love for him to stay and turn his career around. At his best not a bad player to have around, if he can recapture his hunger for the game.
