The Piccadilly Gardens Problem - new development proposal (P32)

He probably makes about a grand from every video he uploads just off YouTube ads. I like the channel myself but I certainly don’t think he and Veitch do them as some kind of civic duty.
Fair do's, for some rather strange reason i just found meself sitting through an hour n 15 minutes of the rock chucking footage, i must have thought it'll put me in the loop somewhat, send me fuckin loopy more like! ...everyone in it seems as bad as each other.

The woman (with her lad) who said she were a user n is now clean, pretty much summed up the whole footage within a minute, n soundly to boot!

Also, the safety of children, elderly n in reality the general public around such a place should be paramount.

Looks as if bods actually go out of their way traveling to be around there for drama, selfies with these so-called youtube podcast 'celeb' hypes types.

I want my hour n 15 minutes dafuq back...

People say they show the country as some dystopian nightmare and Britain is finished is only true in parts. Certain areas will always have antisocial problems and it's all relevant to income and opportunities. If you have the money you can escape it all and live in a society where you will rarely encounter most of those problems. The youtube/ tik tok vloggers go to places where these anti social problems are rife, its good content and makes them money.

The way to keep the public safe is too remove the trouble causing detritus mate, with or without those vloggers the incidents will still happen. It should very much be a case of play stupid games win stupid prizes.

Honestly, we are tripping over cunts in Manchester now, something is going to have to change.

Veitch is a pleb..also seems to be over friendly with some far right loons as well as a track record on picking on vulnerable people for clicks. Some things are an eye opener, like over bearing security people not knowing the law. However the recent exposures of criminality in Piccadilly Gardens and let's say it how it is...lawless open drug dealing .. is putting heat on Burnham hopefully to police Manchester properly. There's a video where they throw stones repeatedly with families say in the garden. There's zero police presence in there. Is an embarrassing stain on the city. YouTubers with bodyguards shouldnt have to put themselves in danger to bring this to authorities attention.

These videos really don't paint Manchester in the best light do they.
Do you think the people that post those videos give a flying fuck? They proclaim that they're posting them to highlight the problems, in order that the authorities will address the issues. Which is bullshit, in my opinion. They're posting them for clicks. More clicks = more money.

Worst thing about social media platforms is being paid for views and clicks. By all means support your favourite content creators via Patreons, GoFundMe's etc, but the act of being paid purely from views invites and encourages this sort of 'content creator', like prank videos, clout chasers and ragebaiters.

They wouldn't do it if they knew they weren't being paid.

The videos really don't but if anyone visiting Manchester doesn't recognise that this is exactly what it's like they must be walking around with their heads up their arses.

Not filming these feral fuckers doesn't make them suddenly go away, they are not Schrodinger's vermin.

Surely though if you were on Manchester council and these videos were getting hundreds of thousands of clicks, wouldn't you feel pressured to do something about it, I know I would.

The council surely are not fit for purpose of this is allowed to continue. It's fucking horrible behaviour.

I agree the creators are doing it for money but it may force change.

And as Mexico states it gives potential visitors an idea of what to expect.

They won’t. They’re only watched by the people who don’t have the confidence to walk up to people and be nasty to them.

They post their hatred anonymously in online forums.

That post will attract flies, you can bet your life on that.

Manchester's success is, in a way, it's downfall. The city centre is attracting dealers and addicts. Business is clearly booming. It's become a bit of a circus....maybe the council should charge tourist entry to see the entertainment.

Billy Moore was an addict himself and served time in prison. I think he served time in Thailand or somewhere like that.
You’re right mate they made a film about it. His brother did 22 years in the Kings Regiment, he’s spoken about the different paths their lives took, I always find him a good listen.
