General transfer rumours

Chelsea complete the signing of hato from Ajax, how do they get on with the home grown/foreign player quota's, seems to be only us that has issues with it
There must be a loop hole that they’ve figured out in buying so many players!?

Is it when they sign them they initially on very low wages in there first 18 months of there contract so if they loan them they be in profit because it covers the fee+ more which they can bank! Or sell them make a profit! Just because they must have +10/15 players who will not get any games

They just buy their players and tell the ones they don’t want that they are not going to play.

You don't buy for significant fees and pay low wages. Not unless said players agents are on the hey diddle diddle.

Half of their team is from our academy, that alone covers their homegrown quota, club trained they've sold a lot of their academy players recently but still got James, Colwill, Chalobah and that young winger tyrique George.

Not a loophole they're just doing things differently. Mentioned this a week or so ago but with their sale of the hotel and the womens team, they've brought in about £300m extra over the last 12 months in 1-off deals, that before annual revenue and the £100m from winning the club world cup.

they need to maximise the benefits of that as it dorsnt carry forward and after 3 years its gone and so the best way of doing that is investing in young sellable players that they can shift in a few years time quickly which then gives them PSR wiggle room later down the line, long after the sale of those assets are wiped from PSR calculations.

They'd be incredibly foolish from a business perspective not to be doing what they're doing, it makes sense and is without doubt the correct call given their situation.

Manchester United have made a bid for RB Leipzig striker Benjamin Sesko with the overall package potentially rising to 85m euros (£73.8m
