President Trump

Trump sees a trade deficit with Lesotho, where (apparently) denim jeans are produced for export. Because they’re too poor, and have no need, to import U.S. goods, Trump imposes massive “tariffs” on them.

It is BRAIN DEAD, KNEE JERK, BULLSHIT, and he doesn’t even have the legal authority to do it…but the CO-EQUAL branch of government meant to call him to task on such matters has lost their balls and their spine and their tongues and any semblance of CO-EQUAL, and given him carte blanche to be “Trump.”

He is the laughing stock of world economics and it is ONLY the fact that the dollar is the worlds reserve currency, and the fact that U.S. treasuries and gold are the two safest places for GLOBAL money, that is currently saving the United States from an economic implosion that would make the 1930s look like child’s play.

Ironically, it is those very same policies that created the bubble leading to the Great Depression that we are following today, and it is no coincidence that he is helping all of his friends even more mega-wealthy right before any collapse, which would see them vacuum up assets for pennies on the dollar!

Throw in the fact that he is creating much of his own wealth in the crypto, rather than dollar, space and it’s starts to look even scarier.

Then, throw in the fact that he’s fired his BLS head of statistics that helps drive economic policy and U.S. about to replace the Chairman of the Federal Reserve with a sycophant and we may be watching the beginning of the perfect storm that destroys 20th century American dominance at the end of the first quarter of the 21st century!

... but of course, who else is there to blame.
Scousers are a good start. People get inflamed with rage about benefit fraud. Or more like people who they think may be risking their benefit money because thats how they think, its a pot of cash they are either used to having and entitled to have. Anyone else getting it is a risk for them. So they demonise immigrants, who dont get it anyway. We should look closer to home for spongers, a lot closer.

But you don't get much closer to home than Keir (the subject of this strand of posts)... do you?

I'd missed his recent mad rant during a cabinet meeting about the White House decor....

"Here we put out – you know these, these lamps have been very important actually, whether people love them or not but they’re if you see pictures like Pearl Harbor or Tora! Tora! Tora!, you see movies about the White House where wars are being discussed, oftentimes they’ll show those lamps or something like those lamps, something that looks like them. Probably not the reals, because I don’t think they’re allowed to – this is a very important room, this is a sacred room, and I don’t think they made movies from here.

You never know what they do. But they were missing, er, medallions. See the medallions on top? They had a chain going into the ceiling. And I said: ‘You can’t do that. You have to have a medallion.’ They said, ‘What’s a medallion?’ I said: ‘I’ll show you.’ And then we got some beautiful medallions, and you see them, they were put up there, makes the lamps look [inaudible] so we did these changes.

And when you think of it, the cost was almost nothing. We also painted the room a nice color, beige color, and it’s been really something. The only question is, will I gold-leaf the corners? You could maybe tell me. My cabinet could take a vote. You see the top-line moldings, and the only question is do you go and leaf it? Because you can’t paint it, if you paint it it won’t look good because they’ve never found a paint that looks like gold. You see that in the Oval Office.

Er, they’ve tried for years and years. Somebody could become very wealthy, but they’ve never found a paint that looks like gold. So painting is easy but it won’t look right.”

Having read that, I am now clinically stupid.

I was just stupid before.

The Guardian featured that in an article about his alleged mental acuity:
