Stephen Yaxley-Lennon

I'm not. I've said he's a dodgy character. What's fascinating is that the left on here are so vitriolic about someone who in reality they probably know very little about, other than the bandwaggon they choose to jump on.

And arguably worse, the vitriol aimed at anyone who has a more open mind and who doesn't believe every word written about him by a left-leaning antogonists with their own agenda.

My own view is that he's NOT as bad as people like to make out. Does that make him a saint? No, of course not. But neither the devil incarnate either.
'Not as bad as people make out'. You must have quite low standards

Probably the latter, or else Farage would not be distancing himself from him. But the country think he's a **** because they've been repeatedly told so. I used to think exactly the same... until a couple of months ago, I found out some details about what had happened to him. And then I'm not quite so blinkered or prejudiced. You should try opening your mind rather than blindly following the bandwaggon - it's enlightening.

This latest incident last week is just one classic example of many. "Man defends himself from assault" shocker. But no, it generated umpteen posts on here about TR being spawn of satan again. So another person concludes he's spawn of satan. Rinse and repeat.
On what basis do you know he defended himself from assault? Other than his own protestation of innocence. Bit odd that he knocks somebody unconscious but fails to stick around to see whether the man has a serious head injury. And please don't say he knew he would be fitted up as he would have known he would be arrested on his return to the country

Has he the right to defend himself YES
Has anyone said he attacked the guy because he was defending himself who was actually there and witnessed it , I don’t know
It wasn’t too long ago people on here were calling the coppers at mcr airport for being heavy handed until we saw the full video of the incident
I can imagine he is a target everywhere he goes and if someone DID come up and threaten him he has every right to defend himself

Do you not get bored of saying the same thing?

I accept that the above is your point of view. Why can't you accept that loads of us think he's a dangerous, violent, grifting **** based on a large body of work?

I don't dislike him because the media tells me to do so - in fact the hovers between fawning over him ( particularly if the likes Farage speak about him ) then pour bile on him and the reason they do that is for clicks - for the media he he is just a vehicle.

The reason I dislike him is because he is a lying, grifting, coke snorting, gambling violent racist. I can work that out for myself but if anyone needs proof see Wiki. The fact that he pretends to be caring "for the girls" whilst entering and trying to film a rape gang trial therefore risking the trial being declared unfair and terminated shows you its all about him. Such a dislikable character with narcissistic traits he is such and easy person to dislike.

Nah, you're doing this wrong. You only dislike him because the media has told you to. You haven't done your research like some of the Oxford professors on this thread.

Tell us why he's a Scum **** then?

He was a member of the British National Party (BNP), a British fascistpolitical party, from 2004 to 2005. For a short time in 2012, he was joint vice-chairman of the British Freedom Party (BFP). He co-founded the English Defence League (EDL) in 2009 and led it until October 2013. In 2015, he became involved with the development of Pegida UK, a now-defunct British chapter of the German Pegida. From 2017 to 2018, he wrote and appeared in videos on the Canadian website Rebel News. In 2018, he also served as a political advisor to Gerard Batten, then the leader of the UK Independence Party (UKIP).

Robinson served four prison terms between 2005 and 2019. In 2013, he illegally entered the United States using a friend's passport. In 2018 he violated a court order by publishing a Facebook Live video of defendants entering court. Prior to sentencing, he appeared on the American far-right website InfoWars to appeal for political asylum in the US. In 2021, he was subjected to a five-year stalking prevention order for harassing the journalist Lizzie Dearden and her partner. In 2021, he was found to have libelled a 15-year-old refugee at a school in Huddersfield and was ordered to pay £100,000 plus legal costs. After breaching an injunction about repeating the libel, Robinson was sentenced to 18 months in prison for contempt of court in October 2024; the sentence length was later reduced after he said he would comply with the injunction in future. In June 2022, Robinson said that he spent £100,000 in gambling before declaring bankruptcy. He also said he owed an estimated £160,000 to HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC). The Times said that he owes in the region of £2,000,000 to his creditors, and is the subject of a HMRC investigation over unpaid taxes.

And you believe all that? The times says
