Sheffield Wednesday on the brink… | Enter administration (p30)

How does that help anybody?
Good question

The only thing it does is ramp up the pressure on Chancer, what we don't know is how interested the "interested parties" are.

This could go on for months, he doesn't pay, we get more restrictions, players leave.

Vicious circle.

As if Wednesdayites haven't got enough on their plate. Hope it all works out for them.

Given how irrational that seems in light of the current situation that suggests they're either utter morons or they're up to something shifty.

Championship survival and a new owner would be an amazing season for the fans, fingers crossed.

As things stand the following preferences for me

Club Still Exists
New Owner (this needs to happen, to stop the club going pop)

Championship Survival is a Hollywood script at the minute, as things stand I'd be amazed if we don't get smashed every week. There's nothing more certain than us finishing 24th.

I suppose the EFL could lift the transfer restrictions once a capable owner is in place.

I’ve got to the point of praying for survival thankfully in the championship means you can take two relegations whilst getting sorted I’d have no issue dropping to the equivalent 4th Division remembering we aren’t the furst Sheffield club to play in the bottom level lol

Martin Peters was a football genius

We believe that some of the restrictions would be lifted once all outstanding monies owed are paid, but I believe the 4 transfer window for fees would remain, albeit we could offer more than 7k a week in wages.

Small pickings though isn't it :)

Just need to be ready and able to put the pigs back in their styes once they get giddy

I know it's a bit unrealistic but I'm a City fan so I know miracles can happen.

The Opta computer believes in them too seemingly!!
Nottingham forest fans of old,and dirty Leicester City fans ..will definitely believe in miracles
Why not The Owls fans.
Lol....
Remember Leicester went from being bottom of the league at Xmas
To avoiding relegation ....to win the premier league title the very next season....

Miracles do happen.

I'm not a betting man....but I bet we see some crazy ref decisions in the championship
Half of which are sponsered by betting companies.
Ho hum.

Best of luck to Wednesday.
Only down the road for us.
Been loads of times to Hillsborough watch city.
Sometimes on the cop
Funny even though a lot of my mates are blades I've always liked Wednesday it shouldn't be allowed to happen
