Season Tickets - 2025/26 | Changes to ticket transfer this season (p101)

How do you actually nominate non members on your ticket account?

I can’t work it out after about 10 minutes of scrolling through every page of my Ticket account.

There isn’t a step by step guide on the announcement. Just when you think Danny Wilson couldn’t be any more incompetent.
 
In that case, my sons not a season ticket holder.

If either me or his grandad can't make the game, and we want him to go. Can we still save the season ticket on an alternative device so he can go in?

if not, this is going to completely stop my son from going to games.

You can do that. What do you do at present for him to attend?

Yes I think so. Like the bit about not being able to transfer to a fellow season ticket holder. Very well hidden!!

That’s exactly the point I was making. I would have thought twice about cup schemes this season if I knew about the new restrictions ahead of the deadline.

If he’s got a supporter number and is on your family and friends you can nominate him as one of your 3 who don’t have a membership. You’ve got until next Monday.
Or he can put the season ticket on his phone. Mine is now on 2 phones.

Thats a good shout, might be best I just download my fathers onto my phone, and he does the same for future games.

Just got back from holiday and only just noticed this s**tshow. Talk about how to baffle supporters FFS. Just when you think they have started to listen as well!
I was just getting the buzz for the start of the season but City (as like last season) have messed up royally on how they are treating loyal supporters, and now they have now left a huge sour taste against normal fans once again. All we all want is to follow our football team and let anyone of our fanbase have easy access to tickets and enjoy the ride, its getting harder and harder and fans left right and centre are just giving up now.
On the rare occasion I don't go I also transfer my ticket to my mate who's a seasoncard holder and he gets a mate from work to go with him. Stinks to high heaven you can't do that anymore unless you know who would be going but it could be anyone of his workmates.
Out of all the amazing things the club have brought us, how can you get it so wrong regarding the Ticketing policy FFS. Then we will obviously get annoying digs from the manager and players regarding atmosphere..

Go to the email about August September and use the link they provide there - there is no link on the website. He is not incompetent they don't want you to be able to do it - and it is almost working.

My son tried this by buying a cheap phone, then because it wouldn’t accept the new ticket software type he has wasted his money.

He was going to hand the cheap phone to mates if he couldn’t make any of the matches. His work means he doesn’t do mid-week or Sundays, got a warning from the Club last season about missing matches.

He is high up on the points system as he loves European away trips, frankly he is getting well pissed off with the Club.

It’s unlikely to be a software issue as you should be able to use either Google or Apple wallet to download the tickets.

Has the phone he bought not got NFC enabled? The ticket office can sort a solution for none NFC phones if you’re persistent enough with them.
 
How much longer can this keep going on? It feels like every year, something new comes along that gets in the way of us being able to support the club we love. The club needs to realise that this is football — a game built on passion, loyalty, and deep commitment from fans who follow the team home and away. I give everything when the lads step onto that pitch, but these constant changes are making it harder and harder to feel connected. It’s starting to feel like I’m falling out of love with the club.

Yes that is the reason it is none NFC.
 
tried to do it on laptop and no bit to add non member on it....as it says download my season ticket but ive already downloaded it onto my phone

Last season they did something where on my phone a QR code appeared on my ticket for each match as the NFC on my phone stopped working. I can’t get season ticket discount or the free £20 from catering in the ground. But I could get in the ground.
