It's Quiet the £250m return

Which saudi clubs have 'come on for him'?

If clubs werecoming in for him, then he wiuld have shown he was keen to go, otherwise there would be no point.

IF...

No idea ,Fabrizio said he's been approached from the Saudi Pro league in recent weeks. Didn't name clubs

In a part of one season in the last decade we were overrun in defence and midfield.
That period coincided with our worst period for injury and illness during Pep's tenure.
It also came after achieving an unprecedented fourth title in four years.

I believe that the idea that we suddenly need even more dramatic change over-emphasised.
We will see the return of the winner of the Ballon d'Or and the return of Oscar Bobb, without doing anything else.
To that, we have added the Bundeliga's leading forward (Marmoush).
An attacking midfielder described as one of only two magicians in French football.
A gifted midfielder - player of the season for a historic European club.
A central defender boasting some of the best U23 stats in the world's top leagues.

I could go on.
We have also changed much of the coaching setup.
There are still three weeks left in the transfer window.

Just enjoy the ride.
The part that also coincided with the most intense run of speculation and scaremongering over the 115.

Allowing Kovacic to leave makes immediate sense, but looking down the line, when Silva and Gundogan are certainly leaving next summer, then that would leave Rodri, over whom there are fitness concerns, as the only experienced midfielder. From that perspective and for the sake of continuity, the appeal of his remaining becomes more understandable.

Is it our choice to keep him or is he refusing to go?

Don’t players have a choice or something? It’s mad the thinking of some fans! The player mustn’t want to go or they’d be no “pep wants him part of the team this seasons” reporting! He has a new child settled at a a club like ours that the best in the league why would anyone want to go! Look at Grealish settled in Cheshire family don’t want to go anyway so only option Grealish has wants to go to would be Everton! We gave them the contracts so we just got to suck it up!

What's happend with one of our players going on loan to Lyon? That was part of the agreement to get Cherki, we haven't heard anything since then.

to make Bernardo captain then let him go next season for free bit odd, but a new contract would seem odd too, not even rumoured that club is working on new contract for him while for others yes (Rodri, Dias, Foden etc)...
I think both Silva and Gundogan were made captain in their last season, though a new contract was offered to Gundo.
De Bruyne was captain for the second half of last season.
Think Pep is fine with a captain for a last season. Also not really an indication of game time, Fern and Kompany didn't feature that much in their final seasons.

The Kovacic stuff is a bit confusing. If you've had saudi clubs come in for him, you need space in the squad you've already got Nico whos younger , Gundo and Reijnders why do you need to keep Kova?
But he may not want to go to Saudi...

I think like Reis, they defo want him playing regular minutes mate.
I tend to agree.
I just wonder if the more Pep sees him in training, the more likely he wants him around.
I suspect there is a change of emphasis with Viana, however, and we will see the best young prospects loaned for one-two years before returning to the first team. I think that is healthy as it keeps a churn and allows us to look at contract lengths knowing replacements are afoot.

There are incomings but not too many outgoings yet from the major clubs. I expect this will change over the next couple of weeks.

Are there any news on Callum Doyle?
