Listen I personally like Jack and he did make some valuable contributions but he cost a lot and is paid a bloody kings ransom. There is a reason Pep didn't bring him to the USA and we do well to remember that.

Talking of deams I found it utterly bizarre when he joined us saying joining City was a dream come true. Seeing as he came through Villa's academy from being a 6 year old kid I bet Villa fans were bemused and pissed off with him saying that.

Standard comment given to players by club PR types. Some players are a bit wiser with what they say, Jack is pretty smart and it's probably true. Just not sure Villa fans would appreciate it.

I think there are still questions around his consistency. But no doubt about his quality when on form.

Sadly Foden has also had a bit of a dip. Big seasons for both coming up.

He had a better season then Phil/docu/sav/marmoosh/bernie. He’s a better player than sav and docu.

Of course he would make our first 11. Palmer has proven to be class in his 2 seasons at Chelsea. And the way he played against PSG has elevated him into being a world class player. I feel sure he'd be in the starting 11 of any club in the world.

He’s got lots of talent, but his chances for us came on the wings. He suits the 10 position and more reactive football like they play at Chelsea.

I played against him at 6 a side years ago when he was supposed to be injured, didn’t seem very injured to me if you get what I’m saying, fucking smoked us in a 10 minute cameo and his mates were all pricks as well.

I'm a fan of any player that pulls on our shirt. And I'll be a fan of Jack once he leaves, because he's a sound lad and I want him to reignite his career.
