Well yes, but it only needed to say if true it would mean Gundogan and Kovacic would need to leave. Not sure it need speculation about Grealish, Pep and Gonzalez tacked on,as that’s neither here not there in making it true or not.

The latest rumour is the one I’m referring to, that it would involve some sort of swap deal with Grealish.

Gonzales is relevant because he’s not been given a chance anyway, with another new body in the way he’s fucked.

I think Rodri will be nursed through the season, hence us needing another who could provide cover for him & across midfield, hence Paqueta. It would allow Nico & Rico to get rotational minutes too.

Also, with Gundog & Kovacic not listed, I think we're thinking along similar lines. We just need to get Grealish & McAtee sorted AND a RB, which leaves the futures of Ortega, Stones & possibly one other CB to be sorted.

Not for me. Some posters bemoan we aren't doing what Liverpool are doing and buying quality over quantity (improving their first 11) and then those same posters want Paqueta. Doesn't make sense to me.
