Burnham must be voted out if he’s insisting on using public money to bail the rags out. There should be a revolt against the Labour Party in the next elections. Some things are bigger than political leanings! I don’t care who was running the Town Hall as long as their manifesto included telling scruffy to fuck off.

100% the taxpayer will be funding that new ground, regardless of what party is elected.

It will get passed through a tourism grant for modernising Manchester and its surrounding areas, and The FA will push for it as they will see it as a northern hub for friendlies up north.

I don’t know the exact term for it. Is it a burka or a pashmina or some kind of elevated cape. The point is the Champions League needs United. Any competition that doesn’t involve United is immediately devalued. Take basketball for example who would you rather watch the Minnesota Cardinals or the Harlem Globetrotters? After Munich, wasn’t City offered United’s place in the European Cup but they turned it down. They knew that a decimated United team was still a bigger draw than City. Everyone goes on about players families being turfed out of their homes but nobody mentioned Bobby Charlton losing all his hair due to what happened. That just gets swept under the carpet - the hair loss thing, not the actual hair. He didn’t sweep that under the carpet, Norma just put it in the bin.

There is a noticeable lack of focus on the actual equipment and training facilities themselves, and more of a focus on what looks like a call centre office for the staff Ratcliffe has sacked off.

Did anyone notice the 1970’s in-door shopping centre MDF lattice ceiling?

He should have gone already over the farcical re-furbishment of the Town Hall. It has been so long covered in plastic that people can’t remember what it even looks like.
