We had 14 years of rather rubbish government under the last lot. Yet people seemed to put up with it for a very long time.

Now within 12 months the new labour government on top of the usual complaining from the right wing media. Which has gone into over drive is facing a second summer of riots over immigration and now talk of green protesters collaborating with Palestine Action to overwhelm the police.

Neither group seems to have a clear motive. The first cannot stop immigration or people being housed in hotels. All that will happen is they will be moved to different hotels at great expense whilst the police are kept busy dealing with protesters also at expense. They will eventually be moved into housing rather than hotels so the problem will be dispersed but that’s always been the plan nothing to do with the riots

The green and Palestine Action stuff seems to be focused on overwhelming the police and little else

The current government have actually done lot of good things. Planning reform record NHS investment, stopped the first lot of strikes, record deportations, India, US, Europe deals, wage rises, interest rate cuts, record investment, reviews on everything, new regulators, I am sure I missed lots.

If you look at Twitter, there certainly talk of the government being against the people and talk of overwhelming the police and I would say a few who are actually calling for something more sinister. Some seemingly pro American / Israeli /Trump and probably some Russian or Chinese bots and some probably just far right

So what’s going on and what should be done ?

There has been a concentrared effort to spread negativity aince the election result, especially on social media like fb and twitter.

Starmer and Reeves didn't help though with their first major policy of freezing pensioners giving ample amminition to the aggitators to stir up shit.

And now these fake "patriots" stiring shite when tbf labour have been more pro army and british and its citizens in recent months than14 yrs of tories defrauding us and 10 yrs or farage grifting.

And I am not sayi g this as bias, I cannot stand labour atm as they have betrayed many principals the party was built on, but they are doing a hell of a lot more than the previous lot.

Do you genuinely believe the last administration had less negative press than the current? I'd say no.

What with Parties, lying to the Queen and a scandal just about every other week it's hard not to see that.

The problem with this Labour government is that they are absolutely ripping themselves apart mainly through ignorance, stupidity and naivety.... and basically lying in their manifesto and has been proven many times through Starmers continuing U turns just saying what they think the public wants to hear.

They do have a massive Parliamentary majority but I tell you what.... it is also a very very fragile majority which could and maybe already has been wiped out come the next election.

So no, I am not trying to bring the Government down.... it is doing that very well to its own self

Prior to the last GE you could see that the Tories were destroying themselves even if you were in outer space. There was already an anti-Labour bias in the overwhelmingly r/w media who were switching allegiance to Farage. They weren't happy that "currygate" hadn't toppled Starmer and they were focusing in on trying to prevent a landslide - something which despite their efforts occurred even on a reduced vote.

From the GE on they have talked the country down and its been assisted by some shitty government by Labour. From WFA to the Sue Gray debacle via U-turns and sackings they have allowed themselves to be seen to be a reactive rather than pro-active Government. This has emboldened them to rouse a rabble to cause bother and apply yet more pressure on the govt so yes its an effort to bring down the Govt via anarchic means whilst claiming to be a democracy

Pro army ?

Labour fanboys are forever the victims.

No acceptance of mistakes or poor policies, it’s always someone else’s fault. Tories, the media etc.

It’s pathetic.
I am not partisan in anyway. Compare the mistakes of this government or the improvements vs the last lot and this lot are not doing ok yet we have had two sets of riots constant negative headlines and more riots set to follow in would seem

Pro army ?
Increasing defence spending.

starmer and labours social media are constantly blowing smoke up the armed forces arse and prasing them.

They actively consult help for heroes and endorse putting its suggestions into effect..

Over a billion being spent on bareacks, accomodation for soldiers and theiir families.

Setting up an commision which those serving can contact for support and for familoes to consult when loved ones are deployed

A lot more than the tories were doing and not reported much, instead you get some toff ex general stuck in a pre 1960 mindset who has no concept of modern life tellingus only conservatives can defend the nation

Ha ha, whats pathetic is the state of GBNew, twitter, Laura Keunsberg, Talk TV who would report on a fart by a labour MP in a lift just to give a negative spin on the government.

As stated I have no love for Starmer, Reeves, Lammy and the government, but the constant negative press is plain to see.

On immigration they promised a lot and have delivered little. A recipe for creating unrest.

What exactly have they promised ? They have stopped Rewanda plan which was waste of time and money have delivered record deportations a massive crack down on illegal working a reduction in hotels, and a deal with France and reduced back log in claims and now an advertising campaign showing deportations to put people off coming. In what 12 months. Seems good going to me

Had realised they had done some of that and the defence spending is welcome even more good stuff
