As a fan base they seem to be out culting Liverpool with the weirdness they put on the internet.
It was only yesterday that I posted on here how everything the rags do is tacky.

This takes the biscuit.

This reminds me of those 1970 public information programmes that were designed to educate kids about stranger danger and other hazards.

This depiction looks like a warning against online groomers and how to avoid being a victim of Stockholm Syndrome.

Most people support a team because either it's their local team, their family supported them, or some random quirky reason that's personal to them. So when times are tough, they ride it out. That's what you do; you support your team. Which is what we see for the fans of 99% of clubs in this country

With United, they have huge hoards of glory hunters. Yet, the longer they go without winning things, the more insecure these fans get about why they support the club. So they, en masse, lean into this weird "culture" bs, as it gives their support "meaning"

Exactly the same as we saw with Liverpool, the original glory hunters' club of choice

Two cheeks of the same arse 99 percent of United and Liverpool supporters would have supported the other team if they were born 10 years earlier or ten years later.

Everything about the club & its finances screams hypocrisy.

A socialist mayor claiming taxpayers should pay for a vanity project so billionaire tax exiles don’t have to.

Capitalist billionaires not happy that a seller wants to control the price of their asset so asks for state welfare.

It’s just a massive contradiction.
To be fair, the rich have always believed in brutal capitalism for the masses and socialism for themselves. Their hypocrisy knows no bounds.

Isn’t that similar to what they paid for Rasmus Birtles?
Some of their more recent transfer success stories.
Pogba €105M
Antony €95M
MacGuire €87M
Sancho €85M
Lukaku €85M
Hojlund €78M
Di Maria €75M
Casemiro €71M
Mount €68M
Yoro €62M
Martial €60M
FRED €59M
Martinez €58M
Bissaka €55M
Onana €51M

I’ve not included €65M Fernandes as he’s undoubtedly been a successful acquisition.

That lot are well over €1B and they’ve just bought 3 more who all go into the top 10 on that list and still no questions asked…

Report that they’ve already agreed Baleba contract and only wants them! Now let’s see if they pull there pants down! Why are Brighton so quiet? If it was us they’d be reports the fee that they’d want or he is going nowhere, quotes of 120m!

Said before the losses they’ve had last 3/4 years no Europe they must be selling the woman’s team or they think sales are pretty much guaranteed for 4/5 of there donkeys! Mainly I’d expect is their new financial set up they done, plus the new PSR coming in of annual wage cap % which will give clubs a lot more leeway if they reduce the wages of players or new contracts for players!

It’s the giving the pens when other teams especially us they want give it and rely on var that won’t overturn it!

I noticed their PR team seem to have come up with this happy family atmosphere theme they all keep trotting out.
They are such a load of bullshitters
The rags are wrongens.

Whatever public relations spin they're putting out, you can be certain the opposite applies.

The word best used to sum up the atmosphere at that place is "Toxic"

We've heard from Gregg's Shaw on how the "stragglers" have left the building.

We've heard from Scruffy Jim that the redundancies were unavoidable.

Yet, we're expected to believe that after a lick of paint and some pine shelves from IKEA the place it's now a harmonious environment with family feel good vibes.

Give it a rest.

The guy behind their PR (Neil Aston ?) is surely making things worse for them. His attempts at trying to create a sense of camaraderie within the club is about as subtle as putting out a match with a hose pipe.

Watching Tyrone mings ragdoll Mason Greenwood is pleasant viewing. They booted him all over the pitch.

Just popping this in the united thread because the fucker will forever be synonymous with them.

It reeks of money laundering and never ending lines of credit.

Excellent breakdown there TLWYS.

However, in response to your final paragraph:

"that lot well over €1B and they've just bought 3 more who all go into the top 10 on that list and still no questions asked"

They (media & pundits) do ask questions but they are extremely loaded questions.

Such as: "how will Sesko improve this team?" and "with these three new signings are we going to see a more robust and formidable attacking threat for Manchesniteh?"

They've done something similar with Liverpool and their summer signings.

It's like watching a double act, the first presenter asked with a very quizzical look on his face "so Adam, how exactly are Liverpool going to be able to afford all these signings, what with PSR and all?"

Then the second presenter with his sensible shoes and clip board says: "well Colin, that's a very good question and we have to remember that PSR is calculated over a three year period and as we know Liverpool didn't sign any players last season....... they've also sold players which means they can afford to spend much more in this window"

"Here's Bob with the weather"

They may have improved slightly but they will be lucky to finish in the middle of the table.
