You have American fans though. It doesn't really matter does it? I would never type "defence." Just doesn't look right to me but I couldn't care less that's what you do.don't take this as an attack on the subject matter of what you post,
but for the love of god this is a mancunian forum
and as such we use the english spelling of the word defence.
please try.
you just did type it.You have American fans though. It doesn't really matter does it? I would never type "defence." Just doesn't look right to me but I couldn't care less that's what you do.
Really ? Not my experience, well dodgy !! :)Went to Sicily a couple of years ago. All I can say is that, it is on the to do list to go for a week. Amazing place. As soon as you get off the main street, the locals look after you. Quite similar to Dublin.
He seems to read the game so well for his age, and with that turn of speed well!!!He has potential for sure.
Is he currently better than Dias to the extent that I prefer him over Dias in our starting lineup versus a top side?
No... I prefer Dias, unless we're fucked for pace on defense.

Yes I watched it. I’d been looking forward to it all week.
The good
1) Reindeers looks like he’s a top top top player.
2) Cherki looks like he’s a baller too.
3) We’re going to score a lot of goals next season. I might have the 100+ goals bet.
4) Ait Nouri looks good going forward.
5) Musaka’s a 17 year old kid who I’d never heard of who didn’t look out of place.
5) Gonzo looks good and I want see more of him. But he does occasionally cough the ball up in dangerous positions Pep need to drum that out of him.
7) Trafford looks good in the air commanding his area.
8) It sounded like a great atmosphere.
9) Oscar Bobb look good buzzing around. It’s great to have him back. Looking forward to seeing him progress this season.
The bad
1) The defence still isn’t quite right even with all of our centre halves back. We still gave up some big chances and Palermo were dreadful.
2) At one point we had Nunes, Gundo, Bernardo, Ake and Akanji all on the pitch together.
3) Doku and Savinho as always flattered to deceive I’m not sure either of them are good enough.
4) I’m still not totally convinced by Marmoush. I think if he gets clattered early on he just doesn’t fancy it. That won’t fly in the EeeePL.
5) If Haaland gets seriously injured the season is done.
6) Gonzo isn’t Rodri
7) Trafford aimlessly pumped the ball up field on occasion.
8) Gutted I wasn’t there.
With no Rodri, unless Pep puts Stones in midfield, González surely has to start. Bernardo is captain so he plays. And Reinjders is the 3rd midfielder.
You can look for positives only, but that's only glossing over things that need improving .... mine are only INITIAL or early thoughts on the player ..... yes, from what bit I've seen of him so far he's confident, tricky, somewhat elusive ... but his passing needs polishing, as does his ability to find City players in space ... he's trying short passes that are being cut out by the opposition too often, resulting in us losing possession ..... people that's aren't seeing this either aren't watching him closely enough, or simply just don't want to see it.From fans not the media! fans will look for the positive and some like you look for the negative angle!

But as I've said in other posts, he needs to work on improving the bits he hasn't got quite right yet, in order to make himself a better player .... and I'm not only talking about him either, Doku needs work, Savinho needs work ... and one or two others!
Am looking forward to this game at Wolves, it's no easy start for us, and a ground we've slipped up at times in recent years, and they are bound to want to see how their own new signings go if they've made any, their crowd usually back them too ..... it will be a tough test for Cherki and City, but the serious stuff starts there.Yeah all players can improve even pep says that and we can critique all clubs failings and individual players faults they can improve! It’s football! Main gripe is let see him for at least 10 games 90min games before looking assessing at individual players to see where he can improve for us.. unless you watched the majority of his games you don’t get an accurate reading of a player..
Have you checked the obituary column?Anyone seen a full & exciting report on the game yet on Sky??? Seen goals from dippers; Arsenal & rags but nothing on our latest silverware :-) :-)
Yeah, I would pick him. But I suspect Pep will go with Bernardo Reijnders and Gundo. He didn’t start last year when Rodri wasn’t playing. Hardly started at all at end of season. I’d be surprised if he does start.
That's a dead cert!Have you checked the obituary column?
I'm sure we'll get a mention there.
Where’s the fucking photosFantastic night, ended up in their equivalent of Tunnel Club - watching the match with lovely cold Peroni on tap surrounded by tanned titties. Wunderbar.
