It's petty, I know, but why does the Community Shield suddenly seem like an important trophy when LFC loses it?

Social media will be swamped with "it's not a real trophy", and "we weren't bothered about it".


Actually, I kind of agree re the "real trophy" bit. It's a pre season friendly, if we're being honest. But well done to Palace. No trophies in 119 years, then two* come along in 3 months.
