Will we win the league this season?

So it the return of John Stones at Palermo, hence Pep's beaming post-match remarks on the importance of John Stones to Manchester City. Stones looks fully fit to me and over that chronic foot injury that ruined his season.

Jesus, those are brave words.

Last season Stones had a chronic injury in addition to the usual hamstring and groin injuries that some players are prone too. If Stones has recovered from his foot injury, then it's reasonable to expect a more normal season for Stones (20 league games per season).

Even though we were in between last season.

I'd say we completely disintegrated but luckily we did it before the January Transfer window. No Marmoush goals and being able to play Kush through our defensive injury crisis and I don't think we'd have been in Europe this season.

20 is about the best you can hope for and that is why he is out of contract very soon.

Much will depend on our (and others') luck with injuries - if we keep players fit for the majority of the season we've got a very good chance - I was very impressed with the team last night.
Also - we're not favourites - arguably, Dippers, Tarquins and the team that can skirt FFP with abandon are ahead of us, but let's hope for a good start against Wolves and Spuds

We did disintegrate in Nov/Dec. But Pep pulled it back together through Marmoush, and I think O'Reilly had a big part to play in that.

Well either win it by 30 points or completely disintegrate I can't see any in between

I can we will certainly not win it by 30pts

Scousers unfortunately are favourites, the fuckers, we are a bit of an unknown quantity which is interesting.

Candlepool

City Arsenal Chelsea may ruin it for the fuckers.

I think top 4 will be a 4 way title fight for a long period of the seasosn

Chelsea, arse, red scouse and ourselves are eall stronger and attack minded, I don't think. all 4 will have tge stamina to g to the end so it's about who mamages their squads fitness best

None

Arsenal and cheslea lacked goals and addressed that, we needed a areeboot and have addressed that, scousers have added top talent to their squad.

The top 4 last year will all be competative this season, more so than last

Right now, Liverpool's transfer window could be either become brilliant or damaging. That is relevant. So it the return of John Stones at Palermo, hence Pep's beaming post-match remarks on the importance of John Stones to Manchester City. He'll find a new one.

I think we'll be back giving it a real good go in another year or maybe two, We need to address the right back problem and also need another centre back in my opinion.

We need other players to chip in with goals in wide areas and from midfield, hopefully Cherki, Foden and Reijnders all get in on the goals as well as Marmoush and Haaland.

Keeping Rodri fit is essential, I know he's has a set back since his return as well as not knowing how he will return when he does, unfortunately these types of serious injuries can hamper a player big time, although I'm fully convinced we'll see a rejuvenated Rodri on his full return.

One thing I do know, if Arsenal fail to win the league this season then they'll be waiting a long long time to do so, Massive opportunity for them next season, surely lego head will be in massive trouble if they fail again.
