Savinho | City reject Spurs approach

I don't understand this at all unless he's really causing a fuss, especially so close to the season starting... I mentioned yesterday that he didn't look very happy when he grabbed an assist. I saw Dias put his arm around him as if he knew something was up.

A setback/new injury to Bobb suddenly leaves our wing depth light.

He's not perfect, but he's young/full of potential and works hard.

I’d be worried about letting the younger players leave (Reis, Echverri) and Savio, whilst no one wants the ‘Uncs’. For some reason, if none of the Unc defenders leave, I can see us sending Khusanov on loan which would be total madness.
He's 21. He shouldn't even be considered to be going out the door, not unless we bring in a top class winger to replace him like Rodrygo. When we've got Akanji, Ake and Gundogan at the club, why is he the first one considered to be moving on? Makes zero sense. It takes more Bobb and Doku injuries to have no available wingers for selection.

Unless we think there's actually truth in all the Rodrygo talk? Personally I dont, that rumour mill really quietened down.

Didn't expect to see this one so early.

Got to say I did think we might see some movement in the wide areas.

Would you sell?
Would you replace or go with Oscar Bobb?
What's he worth?

I think Bobb's ceiling is higher and his output is better. I also think we need a winger on the scoresheet more often.

I did think, it'd be him or Doku at risk.

As long as we rip them off and get a big fee I’m not really bothered about this. He’s a talented young player but he’s wasteful in front of goal and despite what others have said, I don’t think he works hard enough when pressing.

Considering Bobb, Foden, Cherki and Bernardo can all play on the right we have plenty of cover there with Marmoush, Doku and Foden being able to play on the left.

Maybe we need to free up a foreign spot and this opportunity has presented itself? Just make sure that prick at Spurs pays up, no discounted rate please City (£70m+). If they don’t want to overpay I’d also be okay with him staying.
