So the rebuild this summer from a outgoing perspective is loan and sell the youngsters. Keep the old guys. Feels like the clubs stuck from poor recruitment in the past. You've now got 30 plus year olds their legs have gone that you can't get rid of. So the only way to get the squad down is to sell and loan the young players who are supposed to be the next in line.

Said it from his early months here. He will never be a top winger/,forward like Mahrez, Sane, Sterling was for us.

After his goal at Leicester the comments on here about him gonna be a star and a baller were deluded.

I don't know what other fans see in him. I've got mates who support many other different teams and they all agree he's poor.

£50 - 60 million is about right. And spurs is about his ceiling.
 
It would be a shame to lose him, as he’s shown more than enough in his first season in the PL - and having just turned 21 in April - to suggest he’s one for the future.

Would be a shame to see that future at Spurs rather than at City.

That said, if he’s determined to leave, we won’t stand in his way - so I’d at least want Archie Gray in return as part of the deal to make it worth our while!

that’s why I say it feels that way. both have high ceilings and everyone knows they could be top class but it just hasn’t happened yet. very different circumstances though

Shocked we turned down Saudi bid for Kovacic and why the club dont let Gundo go on a free? Then loan Grealish out, sell Mcatee?

But when you look at those Madueke was circa £50mil, Elanga was £55mil, Kudus £65mil so I’d say as long as we get around £50mil then it’s correct price.

We know the likelihood is Pep and City wont bring in a replacement. Doku is on the left and it will be one of Foden, Bernardo or Cherki on the right.

The issue is for a rebuild we are supposed to be telling players “hey you aren’t in our future plans” it’s not difficult but Pep has made Kovacic feel like he’s in our plans when he shouldn’t be
 
Don’t want to sell him but €50m package being discussed?

Not exactly a massive figure for us to change our minds. Thought it’d be a lot more for us to entertain it.
 
Spurs probably using Ornstein, City using Bajko.

It’ll get done for circa £50mil plus some add-ons.

Yep! Some fans are pretty knee jerk and I hope someone would come on here call me out if I post with knee jerk posts and not well thought out posts! Hey it’s a forum where well thought out posts are sparse!
