Palace are believed to want around £40m for Guehi, but Liverpool want to pay less than that figure.

The Reds have already spent around £270m this summer, though they've recouped around £170m through player sales.

The thing is with City you have to also add in wages, agents fees and convert euros to pounds on a 1 for 1 basis so €70m becomes £70m and then multiply by the term of the contract
 
A short news item on Radio this morning, announced that Crystal Palace had won the Community shield, within 20 words, they never mentioned Liverpool... but managed to squeeze two...yes two references to Manchester City being the beaten FA cup team.
Im choosing to believe the 'no such thing as bad publicity' maxim

I'm not sure Guardiola's got the fire anymore by ex man city midfielder.
I dared to look to see who this could be.
Well knock me down with a feather, it was the kraut John Aldridge, Dietmar Hamann spewing his anti City bile.
Also don't get this cursed bit about the charity shield from the dippers.
Because they lost yesterday its now a good omen to go on and win the league.
Didn't the rags lose it last year and then went on to finish 15th.

Note they have the 20 million we paid for Savinho down at 30 million today in the Spurs story. No way he he had 10 million of add ones in 1 trophey less year
