Doesn’t matter what he did in Spain he now has to do it here and atm there is a big question mark over him . I’m saying get rid but we need someone lined up or we are gonna have problems

He won’t though. That finishing will not improve, save for the odd flash of form.

I knew from memory but that video of his misses is pretty damning. If you are hitting it at the keeper that often you’ve a problem.

Its insane to lose talented young attackers, loan out Reis, because your long term 4/5/6 CB choices are Stones, Ake and Akanji.

but you were suggesting it alongside a possible sale of a winger. I could understand if it was on the squad planning discussing all areas.

Other than injury issues and the occasional brain fart from Akanji what's the problem with the other 3?

Sancho at BVB was 75 mil

The money won’t change my life lmao. These guys 95m for Alvarez and didn’t replace him immediately they waited until Jan. It’s not like season tickets will get cheaper, matchday tickets will still be the same, a city shirt will still be 120 pounds.

I’m more concerned with him being replaced with someone better than him.

Reis is gone, Echeverri is gone, now Savio ? But Gundo Bernardo Kova Akanji etc are still here
 
I'd let him go all day long. Can't trust him to do what is asked of him, far too lightweight, finishing is poor. A top notch young winger needs to look like he's also got the ability to play as a 9 or 10 too, he never will, Bobb on the other hand looks like he could, in the future, play one or both of those rolls

I don't think anyone has the knives out for him particularly. From the reports it seems like it is Savinho that is pushing for the move, rather than City actively looking for a buyer.

We generally don't keep players if they want out and his position is one where we have plenty of options, so I can understand why the club might be open to a sale if the price is right.

More than enough imo, especially if we are to play with wingbacks with the forwards playing inside.

They're all good, that's not what I'm saying at all, really rate all 3. The issue is Dias, Gvardiol, Khus, Stones, Ake is more than enough.

We've built a squad with far too many centre backs, no right back, and now we're going to move a top 5 in his age group winger to accommodate Akanji in the squad.

Salah was at Basel at Sav's age, imo we're giving up a player who could be one of the best in the league in 4 years for players who wont be anywhere near the club then.

Plus I don't think Foden or Cherki are that comparable as players and Bobb's older with 6 goals and assists ever, not quite the 2nd coming of jarzinho this thread is making out.

That 5 isnt enough though is it, they are crocked at various points of the season, usually at the same time as each other.

We can't move them on because surprisingly no one else wants a crocked old CB on huge wages.

Wtf has Savinho got to do with Akanji.

So if Foden or Cherki is injured, Reijnders is in midfield and Echeverri is quite possibly on loan, its just Doku on the bench?
