Savinho | City reject Spurs approach

That 5 isnt enough though is it, they are crocked at various points of the season, usually at the same time as each other.

We can't move them on because surprisingly no one else wants a crocked old CB on huge wages.

Wtf has Savinho got to do with Akanji.

They're in the same squad.

The whole reason we're entertaining such a dumb transfer.

Minutes and stats are all well and good but we dont need an 18 year old fringe utility player. We already have Rico Lewis for that. Yes home grown and with potential but currently we need a starting right back therefore should squeeze that slime Levy and crew for as much money as possible to put towards funding a RB (if we even decide to puchase one - is RB to become the new LB?).
That doesn't have anything to do with my response which was pointing out that he has played plenty of times and was clearly a regular, something you said he wasn't.

Yeah Bobb is on the right wing if Foden or Cherki are injured from that list.
Or we paly Bernardo there, there are only so many circumstance you can plan for. I 'm not bothered if we keep Savinho but it would probabaly mean Echeverri has to go on loan just to make the numbers work.

Antony went for 95 mil
Mudryk was 100m
Sancho at BVB was 75 mil

The money won’t change my life lmao. These guys 95m for Alvarez and didn’t replace him immediately they waited until Jan. It’s not like season tickets will get cheaper, matchday tickets will still be the same, a city shirt will still be 120 pounds.

I’m more concerned with him being replaced with someone better than him.

A Doue or Olise
In unrealistic worlds Raphinha, Yamal, Saka, Salah

You don’t sell 21 year olds. It just doesn’t happen.

If HE’s pushing the move then it’s a shame and maybe he’s not mentally built to be at a club like ours. But I still would t sell him before the others left.

We’re supposed to be getting a RB. What kind of rebuild is this. Keep the past. Sell the future ?
Reis is gone, Echeverri is gone, now Savio ? But Gundo Bernardo Kova Akanji etc are still here

I don’t think Echeverri is going, we rejected the loan to buy from Roma, and it’s confirmed he’s not going to Girona.

More likely to stay if Savinho goes, and Bobb is like a new signing.

I don’t see the panic personally for a player who is very hot and cold and scored one league goal all season.

We’ve improved massively with Reinjders and Cherki and I reckon the club would be tempted to double their money on him even if we had managed to shift the likes of Gundogan, Akanji, Stones, Kovacic et al.

Did anyone at all say that before Spurs bid, or are we just scrambling to justify a bad decision?

Bernardo "didn't want to be here" 3 summers in a row, how did that turn out?
What needs to be said?

It's pretty obvious Levy didnt just wake up yesterday and put a bid in randomly. It's clearly been going on behind the scenes between the lad, his agent and Spurs.

Nobody ever came forward for him because he cost too much, if they did then he wouldn't be here.

So if Foden or Cherki is injured, Reijnders is in midfield and Echeverri is quite possibly on loan, its just Doku on the bench?
You’d still have Marmoush, one of Cherki and Foden and Bobb starting wouldn’t you?

How is this any different to what we’ve always had?

When have we had more than 4 wide players in the squad?

Bernardo obviously can't play on the wing any more and if youre willing to pin that much hope on Mukasa sure, but I remember being excited for Brahim, Hamilton, McAtee, Palmer and we didn't do much with any of them.

More goals and assists in less games from the right than Sav managed last season

Players agree personal terms all the time, the selling club actually has to sanction it.

If we say well we value him at 100m - conversation over.

The fact we're pricing him lower than Elanga to free up space is what I think is daft.

Agree think Etechveri and Oscar have pushed Sav out the door

If we are entertaining this we must know we can get another high level attacker in. If we don’t then we are fucking up second summer in a row and it would be an absolute shambles.

Savinho’s ceiling is huge so they’d have to get someone in they believe is better. Otherwise has potential to be another Cole Palmer which felt really wrong to everyone with a brain at the time.

Rodrygo feels like the obvious one that could get done but not convinced city would have chosen to sell Savinho and then pay an extra 30 on top or however much it will take to get him. Also unsure he has a higher ceiling than Savinho but he’s more of a goal threat right now.

Very odd one this though.
