Prefer gurnacho myselfDoes this open the door for a move for Antony?
Hes the type of brave trickster we need to cause teams problems

Both him and Doku are not good enough to be starters for teams fighting for the big prizes.I hate it, and play him on the left, Doku will never be a double digits points producer.
Cherki is a winger, he’s played the majority of games there up to now. Foden hasnt really done it centrally so his best position is up in the air a bit.I dont want Foden/Cherki to play RW, they should play in the middle.
Savio and Bobb for RW is by far my preference.
Rodrygo... wants to play LW where we have Doku and Marmoush, none of this makes sense to me.
He’s actually played more games overall in other positions, particularly attacking midfield. He has been on wings, you’re quite right, but he needs licence to roam.Cherki has played the majority of his games on the wing…????
Seems Pep doesn’t want wingers so much this season. Bobb, Foden, Cherki and Bernardo can all play as the right forward.Apple cover ? Your only natural wingers are Bobb and Doku. One broke his leg. The other has small injuries during the season. One injury and we’re washing eyes with bleach for Bernardo RW
hes played 3000 mins. 7th most used player last season. Played the most mins out of anyone in CWC. He got plenty game time
Big disagree on everything you said.Cherki is a winger, he’s played the majority of games there up to now. Foden hasnt really done it centrally so his best position is up in the air a bit.
Bobb and Doku as young hungry back ups, with Cherki/Rodrygo on either wing is infinitely better than what we had last year!!
Marmoush has done nothing out wide. All of his goals have come between the width of the 6 yard box.
We've got too many players because we've thus far failed to shift any of our old centre backs or centre mids. Losing Savinho without replacing him would 100% leave us short. Not sure why people think we will get a replacement, we need to lose a foreign player, if we sell Sav and buy that overpriced Rodrygo from Madrid it would make no sense to me at all. If we sell and do not replace then it makes a little more sense IMO
Haha no wayOr get rid of one and not buy the other, who is a mirror image of the one you are getting rid of.
End product being 1 goal? LolPrefer bobb all day long. End product, work rate and the quickest feet in the club.
I think his posts on X today are all pretty good reading tbhHave you anything to lift Bluemoon spirits Tolm :)
Akanji was brilliant in the treble season. He can play right back, left back, both centre backs, and in midfield. We still need him.Who says Akanji wants to leave?
He's a regular in Pep's lineups and seems completely settled.
Looks more like we just jumped at the first offer we got to open a squad space, because we've failed to move on a fair few players we seem to have assumed we could. What evidence is the for this? What we do know is that the club has accumulated too many players and now finds itself having to offload young talent. The lad played 3000 minutes last year but will be moved on to accommodate players who could not and probably can no longer manage that and who certainly won’t be here long term.
We found it much easier to shift coaching staff but have found it much, much harder to shift established players.
I think Bobb, while still recovering, has higher potential. He is a very clever player who rarely makes a bad decision. That’s quite rare in football. How is Bobb ahead of him though ? They should be absolutely level going into the season.
Not quite correct. He has played more games on the flank than central. And last season (his real breakthrough), he played from the right a lot. Granted with some licence. Our resident Lyon supporter also says he’s better from the right! He’s actually played more games overall in other positions, particularly attacking midfield. He has been on wings, you’re quite right, but he needs licence to roam.
Bobb is ideal for those games when the defence is entrenched, but Savinho is ideal for those games when it’s more open and his pace can attack space. A well-balanced squad would be able to accommodate both.I think Bobb, while still recovering, has higher potential. He is a very clever player who rarely makes a bad decision. That’s quite rare in football.
