Savinho | City reject Spurs approach

No issue with us selling him, my issue is he should be 8th or 9th in the pecking order.

We’re meant to be in the process of a rebuild, yet we’re letting 21/22 year olds leave whilst keeping the old guard around.

Akanji, Bernardo, Gundo, Kovacic and Ortega stand out players that need shifting before him.

Give us Livramento and we can talk.

For me, there are some weird takes in this thread.
Savinho has always been a serious talent and I would like him to develop with us.
If he prefers to move away, best of luck and here is the fee.
If he wants to stay, here is the competition: Cherki, Foden, Bobb, Echeverri, Doku, Marmoush and (coming through) McAidoo and Mukasa.
We will support you to become a top, top player but understand that you are 21 with years of development ahead of you.

Some people going berserk here about mismanagement and Viana being out of his depth are absolutely bonkers. You don't appraise someone because of a few Twitter posts. Look at whom we have bought. Look at their ages. Look at the fees paid. And then consider that the transfer window is open. Savinho is not sold. There are no done deals. Get a grip.

Just ignore the players we have brought in already then, you know, the rebuild.

Sometimes it's clear that a player has got something, when he did that finish away to Newcastle in a very important game late on, then you know he can do it at the top level,
We will have to agree to disagree.

You do not pin your hopes - and remove competing players - on a 5 second bit of magic.

Sure it CAN happen but that's an incredibly big punt.

It’s not that deep.

Where I’m from. When you see an olde gentleman, instead of saying Hello Sir, you say Hello Uncle. It’s a sign of respect.

The new generation has just shortened the word. They’re the seniors of the group.
It isn’t used for respect by most of them using it in here.If any, and it was never used until last season when a few players were struggling.

Show me an offer anywhere near £50m for any of those 5 players...

We have so many young players that you eventually have to cash in on 1 or 2:
Foden 25
Doku 23
Bobb 22
Savinho 21
Cherki 21

5 players under the age of 25 that can all play out wide.

Can't have a squad full of 'potential' but not results.

As a believer that every City player has his price, and that we brought in a winger this summer, plus we have some out standing academy players, but this lad had the most assists, he also had the most assists for Haaland despite not having as many minutes as others on 4x the wages, he missed a huge amount, so putting that right over the next 2 years should see his value double.
Then there is the club that wants to buy him, they ridiculed City`s owners and business personnel, with their stance on Kane, we should reciprocate, a £100 million valuation rising to £150 million if they respond, we do not need to sell one of our lowest earners, the 2 players linked to us were both linked to them, but they bulked at a £100 million asking price and £300k wages.
Can our youtubes please stop talking about Spence, he is crap wank shit abysmal, they have been trying to get rid since they brought him in, Forest refused to take him back, he is not as good as Kabore

And what results did we get with the old guard last season, that I guarantee will still get loads of minutes this season?

We’re well under PSR and all other financial metrics, we don’t need the £50m. Espically when there’s only £30m profit.

There’s no way he should be sold before any of the players mentioned. You can’t rebuild with a side of 30+ year olds.
Think a little deeper.
We have a forward line of Doku, Marmoush, Haaland, Foden, Echeverri, Bobb, Mukasa, Cherki. The average age is probably 23.
We have a 20 year old right back and a 21 year old central defender.
Gvardiol - early twenties.

Our midfielders, bar Bernardo and Gundo are all in their 20s.

In essence, your post is utter bollocks.

What the fuck are you talking about you silly ****.

Echeverri is obviously on his way out on loan. Mukasa wont be anywhere near the squad this season, let alone the 11. If you think it’s acceptable to get rid of Savinho before those players mentioned then you’re talking utter bollocks.

Okay, take away the two players. You said we have a 'side of 30+ year olds'. It is nonsense, and I named them. Get a grip.
I'll take my confirmations from the OS, rather than the odd Twitter troll thanks.

Lad? You from Merseyside? I know best because I've spoken facts? 1 solitary goal? Lol.

Calm down lad.

I've watched them both a lot and as of now Savinho is a better player than Bobb, Bobb is living off one moment of brilliance and brilliance it was but that's it.

Again you say Savinho goes past people and does nothing yet Bobb has 1 assist in 17 league appearances. People need to stop thinking that every player we have in the youth is the next big thing, we've produced one that's broke in and stayed and thats Phil Foden.

There's already top sources that have actually said Pep doesn't want to sell and with the amount of minutes he gave him last season I don't think he does.
Utter bollocks lad
