Rodrygo

Hope this happens as Rodrygo is still only 24 and just needs a fresh start. Pep adores him it seems and if Pep gets him going 100% then he`s better than Savinho imo.

Let's not be selective here. Going on stats alone, David Silva wasn't anything to write home about but we know stats don't tell the full story.

Now I'm not suggesting Rodrygo is Silva, but the point is valid, just reeling off stats isn't the best way to judge a creative player. Plenty of players considered lesser players than David Silva have better G/A seasons on paper. It's what they can do for the team that matters.

Rodrygo is not a play maker though he is a striker. If people say that savinho is bad due to his numbers then the same has to go for rodrygo who last scored in January + 3 years older. Madrid fans wouldn’t mind if he leaves. Rodrygo is highly inconsistent he will score 2 goals and not score for the next 3 months. I don’t know what type of player people think he is.

He isn’t a playmaker and he is living off his game against us years ago + Madrid PR.
 
Romano latest tweet is clearly city saying to Rodrygo they want him and putting the ball in his court
Not seen anything that obvious for a while

Rodrygo is NOT a striker
 
I think he’s the kind of player Pep could really get something out of, like a Sterling, and really maximise his goalscoring.

That being said, doesn’t make sense for me, he’s been kicking up a fuss at Madrid for years about wanting to play LW, our opening is on the RW. Marmoush and Doku are in his way, or at least Marmoush.

Strange one that, I’d fear for Marmoush strangely. Unless Rodrygo does see himself as a right winger.
 
We know Peps a fan. He called Rodrygo the danger man when he could’ve signalled out Vini or Benzema when we met Madrid multiple times.

Reports from Spain for 2 seasons has been Peps dream winger is Rodrygo. He wants Rodrygo etc
