Savinho | City reject Spurs approach

IMHO, Savinho isn't anywhere near as good as some people on here think he is. Same with Doku.
Savinho is a raw talent that hasn't made any significant progress since he arrived, and doesn’t look like he's going to tbh. If we can get £50m plus possible future add-ons for him, we should take their hand off.
Absolutely

Don’t you guys always use the logic that players need a year to understand pep‘s tactics + the team was abysmal last season?
Or does it only count when it suits the argument?

it's just business :-(

Imagine a cake shop owner going to the rotary club dinner and is sat next to another cake shop owner who has been slagging his/her shop off all year?

Incredible really isn't it mate? Every time one of these cunts attack our club they are really attacking the fans, no response to me shows how little the people at the top think of the culture and well being of the fans who'll be on the terraces when they're long gone.

I know this has been discussed to death previously but in terms of the premier league rules re overseas players..

From what I can see if I haven’t got it wrong then if Savinho leaves then we would be on 17 overseas players ( excluding Ortega , echeverri, Nypan who I’m classing as already gone). Have I got that right? If so it would mean one established player in the squad would have to be moved on or not registered in the premier league squad in order for us to sign an overseas replacement ?
Yes if we sign a replacement for Savinho we would need to sell another overseas player. But seeing as City didn't have any intention of selling Savinho before the Spurs approach then we must have already been working on shipping someone else out.

PSG just bought Illia Zabarnyi for 66 million euros from Bournemouth.

Imagine being friends with a **** that hates your business? I know it's statesmen like but the fans would appreciate more of a "FUCK YOU" approach every now and then to reminding the target who's boss.

There's something about Levy that everyone should dislike :)
The only dislike I have with with Levy is that fucker breathes.

Whilst a lot of this is true, Khaldoon and Levy are actually friends and get on very well.

Our chairman knows how to dance.

And thats Why Spurs were part of the group that sued Man City in the 115 case !

All their votes & Actions were against City, If Khaldoon was seen smiling with Levy that doesn't makes them actual friends.

My main interest in the Palermo game was to see the formation, tactics & who started.

The formation & tactics were the same as last season, & the second half team bore a striking resemblance to Pep's preferred starters, with the exception of Reijnders & maybe Cherki.

I thought with the new coaching staff, it'd be all change, or at least an evolution of our tactics & formation, but no, it seems we'll continue into the new season as we did last.

First fear - Almost confirmed. We'll see against Wolves & Spuds.

After a speculative rumour early last week of Savinho to Spuds, on Sunday night came an avalanche of claims that City were in "advanced talks" over the sale of the player!

I'm fuckin gutted! He's a young kid, whose had ONE season in a new country, in the toughest league in the world. He was playing in a dysfunctional City team, but still came out as our most creative outlet.

What the actual fuck are we doing selling him! And to Spuds! To say I'm seriously pissed off & dismayed at the possibility, is an understatement.

In terms of other outgoings, our ageing, injury-prone squad members are STILL refusing to leave, & Guardiola has played them all in pre-season, & now we've loaned out & seem to selling our future.

Second fear - becoming realised. We'll see the make-up of the squad come September.

I doubt that very much. Their money is as good as anyone else's. Football clubs would deal with the Devil if there was money on the table.

It's only business.
What like Spurs not wanting our money for Kane?
We're obviously worse than the Devil then
