How could he? Didn't he see the best team ever, play them off the park? Some people never learn. I heard they didn't look great. But, worst team ever in the CL, you hold that trophy. :)Celtic supporter on RC phone in tonight . ‘Plzen are the worst team ever seen in Scotland. Absolutely dreadful football team. Worsest worst EVER!!!!!!’
Not one of the panel on RC phone in had the balls to point out Plzen are ranked above Celtic Bwahahaha
Would be better if both old firm clubs played this season in Europa and tried to get the countries Co efficient up. I read we are in danger of losing Europa spot , going down to 1 Champions League spot and the Champions having extra rounds to qualifyHow could he? I wouldn't be surprised if you make it and we fuck it up, the way we are trying out Hari Kari.
I heard it's 3 qualifying games. And that will be for at least 2 seasons.Would be better if both old firm clubs played this season in Europa and tried to get the countries Co efficient up. I keep telling you. If we spread the wealth it’ll make league stronger. Improve the best of the rest and we could have nights like last night on a consistent basis improving countries coefficientI heard it's 3 qualifying games. And that will be for at least 2 seasons.
We don't even spend money on us ffs.I keep telling you. If we spread the wealth it’ll make league stronger. Improve the best of the rest and we could have nights like last night on a consistent basis improving countries coefficient
I'd strongly disagree. The Scottish Premiership is a joke now. Only once in the last 14 seasons has Celtic not won it (when Slippy G guided Rangers to stopping Celtic's ten in a row, in the Covid season). And it's already looking like it's heading to Parkhead again. Unless Hearts can pull off a shock. That's a damning indictment on the rest of the league, particularly Rangers, obviously, seeing as they'd be perceived as the most likely challengers to Celtic. No; Celtic really need to start performing decently in Europe. For too long they've underperformed in European competition. One step ahead of Rangers is all they're interested in. Anything in Europe is a bonus to them but not crucial.
They do the same every year though. Spend nothing leaving themselves short for the CL qualifiers, then when they get through that they might spend a bit.I'd strongly disagree. The board don't seem all that bothered about Europe. Which is strange. That £20m you mentioned would be peanuts compared to what they'd get if they somehow got through to the group (league now, sorry) stage of the CL.They do the same every year though. They've spend something like £2.7m this summer and taken in around £20m.
Miserly.
Very rarely are they proactive once a season ends and go for good players straight away to make the team better.
We got out the group last season Jim. However, our hopes of keeping that going with additions hasn't happened. I hate our board more than I hate Rangers.I'd strongly disagree. You could hardly fail getting out the group after the draw you got FFS!We got out the group last season Jim. However, our hopes of keeping that going with additions hasn't happened. I hate our board more than I hate Rangers.
