This was one year ago cant see much has changed
"

Ançelotti revealed that harassing Donnarumma with the ball at his feet was a pre-prepared tactic, “We struggled to get the ball back, but with the high press we had tested out in training, we got the goal and that totally changed the game.""

Real are one of the teams you can count on one hand. I don’t expect the likes of West Ham to all of a sudden start pressing us like hell because Donnarumma is in net.

Couldn’t care less if he’s shit with his feet,he’s the best keeper in the world by a mile at actually keeping the ball out of the net. Won’t happen though unfortunately.

4 clean sheets in the league last season and a lower save % than Eddie.. Wheres this best in the world coming from?. Had some superb games but also has a few glaring weaknesses.

Maybe it's one of those occasions in which something unexpectedly came to surface and we are now acting on it.

Part of me thinks the Ederson deal to Galatasaray is closer than we think as they've probably decided to pay the fee we are asking for Ederson.

I understand the points regarding Trafford, although when a player of the calibre of Donnarumma comes along you'd expect a club like us to be all over it and looks like we are.
Can`t disagree matey, just a bit of a strange one, having signed Trafford, but as you say when something like this arises it puts transfers on a different level.
If anything comes of this we can honestly say that the club are right in having a big clear out, as fans we knew it had to happen.
Exiting times before the window closes.

It was, actually. Donnarumma made a surprising amount of errors leading to goals last season.

Obviously he prevented far more. But it's still a weakness.

That's fair. It was a short message. I guess I'm meaning it didn't prevent them from building from the back (generally) and being successful.

He's clearly not amazing at it, but for the most part they managed, and the overall outcome was a success. It would make things different for us also, but doesn't mean we couldn't be successful.

But you don't throw the baby out with the bath water. Donnarumma would completely change what has been a fundamental part of Pep's City.

Thing is mate, neither me, you or anyone else can have any influence in this situation, but be honest there is no smoke without fire, his head was seemingly turned by Saudi, he played that down, now Turkey, and I can't believe that he would be interested in going there of all places, but if he goes , he goes

I heard that there has been a row with him and Enrique, which led to him shouting that there was nothing wrong with defeet.

L'Équipe is the only French sports daily. Reliable, it publishes the salaries of Ligue 1 players every year.

Donnarumma earns €849,500 per month. In France, salaries are calculated monthly.

That works out to: €195,500 (£170,000) per week

Absolutely loving the new transfer approach. No more tippy-tappy negotiations.

We want anyone and everyone.

We've got Ederson & Trafford but Donnarumma becomes available. Meh - here's £50m for Donnarumma!

We see Isak is available, and we've got Haaland, but who cares? Here's a £250m bid in one payment with zero add ons!

:)

We have 4 players who can play left back in
Air-Nouri, Gvardiol, Ake and O’Reilly.

Meanwhile at right back we have
Nunes, Lewis and Akanji?

We currently have 4 goalkeepers on the books. The one we just signed for a British record is about to become a complete non-factor if Donnarumma comes in.

We’ve also been unable to shift any of our aging or injury prone players.
Surely your getting sick of “who can play left back” rather than “is a left back” ?

Right well we know Ortega is going. If Trafford doesn’t like the competition I’m sure we can sell him next year. That’s the way the game goes.

What a surprise nobody wants ageing injury prone players….
