They have filled in a lot of the gaps on the roof panelling at the North-West corner.

Probs just me, but that synthetic green surface around the pitch perimeter now looks a bit Gladys Knight. I would replace it with a navy blue surface (eg in NFL stadia), and add some Etihad and Etisalat signage.

Some north stand pictures and updates ,
march 2026 stand handover , August 2026 hotel complete and autumn 2026 commercial block complete .
No word on yellow crane just logistics etc , 2026 concerts going to happen around construction , sky bar accessible on non match days via lifts on entire side of north stand .
Also in pictures you can see they have started the updating process of new row and block numbers .
Will update with more pictures soon .

March 2026 stand handover is big news. That's a slight delay (from January) but major projects often get delayed, and that delay isn't huge.

Maybe that’s the complete stand could they not open access to the turnstiles, concourse and seats without the rest of the stand first?

I'm here now, a couple of pics I've taken.

It's only when you actually stand beneath the structure you realise just what an amazing project the owners are doing, when it's finished it will be the envy of every rival football supporter in the land.

Imagine being sat underneath that massive screen, in the shade, with thick steel legs obstructing your view as well.

Those tickets will have to be some of the cheapest in the ground.

They’re seats for the Ardwick bar and can cost several hundred £.

It is the complete stand. I think ticket sales for the rest of the stadium will be the driving factor on opening the stand earlier with limited back of house.

Looks to be a lot of float in the other dates too.

March would mean they get it open for the run in and later stages of the CL.

Might be more attractive than a freezing cold Jan/Feb opening.
