I haven't denied interest in Felicity Kendall but there again nobody of note has asked me ;-)
Apropos of mothing football related, I wrote some scripts for Ms. Kendal a couple of years ago, they were just short pieces to camera so nothing too tricky to compose. Not only did she nail the delivery first time, she also sent me a lovely note thanking me for my time and work.

Wonderful woman.

Genuine question, why are PSG ditching him for another keeper?
Luis Enrique:

“These are always difficult decisions, I know that,” said Luis Enrique at his pre-match press conference, where he was naturally asked about the goalkeeper situation right at the start. “I can only say good things about Gigio Donnarumma: he is undoubtedly one of the best goalkeepers around, and even better as a person, but we were looking for a different type of goalkeeper.”

Chevalier is considered the stronger playmaker and also fits better with the “new” PSG, which prefers French players to expensive celebrity imports from abroad. However, negotiations with Donnarumma over an extension of his contract, which expires in 2026, also stalled, which may have played a role.

City have been interested in Donnarumma for at least a year. Trafford will have been told.
Truly don’t think that’s the case at all, and there’s nothing to suggest that is the case, we obviously moved away from Donnaruma and signed Trafford.

Why would we give him the number 1 shirt, if we knew with such certainty Donnaruma was coming?

He can’t have the 99 shirt here.

That doesn't surprise me in the slightest, she seems to be a very nice person by all accounts, your anecdotal story seems to compound that opinion.

The l'equipe report said we asked about him last Summer too, I believe.

Wouldn't be so sure about that.....this accelerates quickly today i reckon

Wages are normal for a player if his stature, unless he’s expecting a big pay day.

Fee yeah on the higher side bearing in mind he has a year left. But a great opportunity to get one of the worlds very best.

About 10 days ago when they agreed Chevalier the price for Donna doing the rounds was much closer to the Trafford fee than the €50m now being reported. So expect this to get done in the £25-30m range.
He is on like 200 a week or something and seems he wants a pay rise even tho they want him gone because of his wages now they have a new goalie

200 is a lot for a goalie. What’s Eddie on like 150 or less depending on who you listen to

They couldn’t agree a new deal and Enrique wants someone who is more comfortable on the ball

And we want Ederson, who is the best in the world with the ball at his feet, to leave and sign somebody who can't even trap a bag of sand with his feet?
