Savinho | City reject Spurs approach

There a world of difference between looking for a move and trying to force one and being open to a move if a fee is agreed not everything is black and white. There have been cases when clubs agree a fee and a players decides not to make a move. Only over emotional fans get too wound up in these things, usually on the internet it really isn’t a big deal.
Why would Savinho be looking for a move to Spurs ? A 20 year old who started over 30 games last year.

Nobody said he was forcing one .

I think you’re right we should now sell him at the right price but he or his agent should have factored in that trying to get the right price out of Levy is nigh on impossible!
Fair enough but It could easily be spurs asked his agent the question and Savinho said if City agree a fee he’d think about it , no sign he pushing anything, hardly an Isak situation.

Don’t know and don’t really care ,just see what the squad is 2 nd September and get on with the important stuff, watching City.

It's quite worrying it could be about landing Rodrygo, which would be fine, mildly disappointing to give up on Sav so early, or just keeping all of Akanji, Gundogan, Kovacic - who are all still great players but with the buys of NHG gonzalez and khusanov you'd think a little redundant.
Have to wait and see.
Guardiola has always been consistent in saying that his success has been down to having great players. Maybe he and Viana now think that it’s better to give him ready-made tools rather than wait and develop a team of youngsters, especially if this is to be his last year(s).

I know it’s more of what we already know but it’s good to see Jack Gaughan also saying it

“Were City to do business with Spurs, they would turn their attentions to Real Madrid superstar and Savinho’s international team-mate Rodrygo”

Cmon levy pay up

Can't see spurs getting to the figure we would want.
If I were them, I'd be pointing at Elanga being sold this summer for £55m. He is a couple of years older but is homegrown and lot better stats than savinho last season.

And Madueke who went to Arse for £48.5mil I think, hence why I reckon £55mil is a decent price for Savio.

Being a superstar with 12 scorer points really shows how insane Madrid PR is

OK luv don't have a hissy fit i was just asking you because you questioned his commitment as a footballer who at 18 left his country flew half way round the world to play football and try and make a better life for himself and his family i never said he should be starting every game
You seem to be the one having a hissy fit lmao.

All I said, in reference to your mates comment about him not having any confidence, was that it’s a prerequisite for playing for a big club.

Are you Savinhos brother or something, or stalker?

It’s levy mate let him pay up at least we gave him the courtesy of picking the phone up to talk!

He’ll get sold I reckon, no way back for him. He’s shown to the club that he doesn’t back himself to cement a place in the team.

Bobb and Echeverri meanwhile are champing at the bit.

Agreed! Rodrygo has been one of my dream signings for the last two years!

maybe its not that we are keeping them...just that nobody wants to buy them...

This is what happens when you put players of certain ages on very good contracts and high wages.....why would any of those 3 leave? We might want them to leave but they want to get paid as well as they can near the end of their respective careers.
Its upto Pep whether he actually plays them or not however
