Supporters of the national team are made up of people from a wide range of club sides. Some of those club sides would be nowhere near qualifying for European competition.

IF the amount of clubs qualifying, were equivalent to today, the problem would likely have been far worse.

Looking at current football banning orders. Some of the non league/lower league financial problems may be explained! Some have double digits.

A snippet of arrest reasons for those that can't be bothered to read the article. Posted mainly due to the last line.

Says more about the Police on Merseyside. Dozens hurled bricks at a coach in plain site and not a single arrest made.

I looked at Kings Lynn Town. They have an average attendance of around 1200. They have 8 banning orders. There are plenty of others. I don't know the reasoning behind though.

I do worry about holding a major international football tournament, in this country, with the current mood of society.

A final note. Had to laugh at the higher number of people arrested for drugs at 'the scum'. It explains their delusions. lol

Have you ever been to Kings Lynn? It’s a large farm with a few houses. Makes Norwich look cosmopolitan!

I didn't think it was the largest of places! IF they are banned from football, what on earth is there left to do ?? haha

Talksport getting them riled up and the mugs are falling for it. ‘Are Liverpool buying success?’ Is the topic. The last caller was that high pitched I thought my speakers were going to blow.
The usual Talksport baiting of fans.

As I have said before, the more signings we make, the more worried I am that we will simply end up struggling to make top 4, let alone challenging for the title.

IMO, the 2 CBs that we are going for (apparently) makes sense as that is the week point. Anything we only happens to VVD and we only have Gomez to cover. I suspect they are trying to get cover in now as they know that Konate is already gone, whether he goes to Chelsea or to RM. A case of do the business first before any buying club knows you have spare cash. That being what Newcastle are presumably doing at present with Isak.

If Newcastle get £130(+) for Isak that will add a premium to any player that they go for as the selling club will see them as cash rich. Hence them holding on until they get Wissa/Muani or whoever they can.

From the days when Jimmy Hill initially broke the clubs control and on to Bosman, it really has shifted totally now to the players holding all the cards. I am not a fan of the way the likes of Van Hooijdonk, VVD and now Isak can hold clubs to ransom. The fines and loss of wages mean nothing to them and so they can force any move they want.

Richard Masters the CEO of the premier league getting in on the act now and defending Liverpool's summer spending.

The reporter on Sly Sports puts it to Masters how it has come as a surprise to many people just how much Liverpool have invested, it's felt as though the other clubs have to chase them because they are the reigning champions. Yet, £240,000,000.00 spent on transfers so far; another £40,000,000.00 trying to get the Palace captain and they're also looking at getting Isak for £110,000,000.00 plus.

What does it the champions feel they need to spend that much money just to stay ahead, say to you?

Masters: "well it's happened before, strengthening from a position of strength. However, Liverpool have sold players as well and I think their net spend is £100,000,000.00 at the moment"

I thought to myself that's very convenient that you just happen to have those figures at hand.

I then wondered, if Masters knows the net spend of MCFC and if he recognised that when we strengthen from a position of strength that too should be celebrated and not investigated.

Then Masters started wittering on about how it's going to be an emotional night at Klanfield on Friday for the opening game of the season.

Then I thought: is there ever a time when it's not emotional at Klanfield. I might set up a tissue stand next to the programme stand. I'd be quids in.

I really haven't got an issue with them spending money.

Knock yourselves out, I say.
It's about time they joined the party and got off their high horse.

The issue that I've got is the double standards from the media, pundits and now Richard Masters jumping on the bandwagon, preaching net spend.

I don't tend to believe in coincidence. However, I do find it interesting that the summer Liverpool choose to go bonkers in the transfer market, the sports journalists and the broadcasting media become obsessed with "Net Spend"

We had Richard Masters on Sly Sports early adamant that their net spend was only £100,000,000.00 and advocating that "you strengthen from a position of strength"

Well if you know that you bent twat stop investigating MCFC for being ambitious.

It has come to light, John Barnes and several other ex Liverpool players, started up companies, then amassed debts of over £540m combined.

We then sold them a bit of our history, several lumps of turf from Stanley Park, you guessed it, for £540m!

It has been a long, drawn out, masterplan.

The ex-players, now in the process of selling the turf, to scruffy Jim of Trafford, for a fee believed to be £800m.
